We are semi-retired that love Michigan and the great outdoors. One of our passions is riding our Harleys and riding with friends. We enjoy riding our ATV's and snowmobiles in Northern Michigan and turning people on to different areas to visit in Michigan. Our 2 Jack Russells are now our 'kids' as our 5 children are grown and on their own.
Wendy Wright purchased this cabin in 2010
Our UpNorth home is directly across the road. We have been bringing our family up for almost 20 years to enjoy riding our ATV's and snowmobiles. We have also done a lot of camping in the area as well and always came back.
Enjoying your morning coffee overlooking the lake and listening to the loons from the dock on the property. Walking your dog on the 3 acres of woods and down the private deadend road.
Perfect place for solitude. Very comfortable and clean and a lot of room for our dogs to run. Closeby to great golf course. We had a great time and are looking to come back again.
Serenity is the perfect name for this lovely rustic log cabin! My family had a blast learning how to kayak...practically had the entire lake to ourselves every time we were on the water! We were pleasantly surprised at how peaceful and quiet the lake was considering how many homes are on it. Enjoyed listening to the loons in the evening as we sat around the firepit. We were only there for a weekend, but saw a vast array of wildlife from the back screened porch. And yes, there are beavers in the beaver pond!!!
What a beautiful log home, property & lake. We enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch with our two English Setters each evening. The surroundings are also beautiful and peaceful. Morning coffee sitting next to the gas fire box was a real treat. Can't wait for our return stay.
We were looking for a quiet place to spend our anniversary and this was it. Booked on a short notice and Wendy was able to accommodate us and even had the cabin ready early. Clean and adorably decorated. The whole property was very well maintained. Although we did not need anything during our stay, the owners let us know we could call them for anything. Hope to make a visit again. Thanks again Wendy and Randy!
We had a great time! The cabin has a wonderful feel, and the neighborhood is fantastic. Wendy and Randy are extremely nice and I definitely recommend their cabin to anyone who needs time away. Thanks again!
We just returned from our week in this lovely cabin. Very rustic decor, perfect to accentuate the log cabin itself. I stayed with my siblings and my little JRT Lili. She had the best time chasing the chipmunks around the cabin every day. Luckily, she never caught one. Cabin is clean and well equipped. We did bring bottled water as the well water is...well water! If you are not used to that we would suggest you bring bottled water along.
The screened porch was perfect for sitting out a rain shower. Or relaxing in the evening without the bugs. There was a grill but we did not use it. We opted to grill at the Lewiston public beach after our pontoon rental. There is private beach access which comes with the rental along with a paddle boat and kayaks. Short walk from the cabin.
Firepit comes stocked with wood, chairs and an outdoor picnic table. Lovely mornings surrounded by the sounds of nature. Very secluded yet close to town for shopping and dining. Great restaurants in Lewiston to choose from! Wendy and Randy were very nice and I was glad we did get to meet them on our last day!
Would definitely recommend!
Thank you so much for sharing your cabin. The family including the dogs loved it. Cabin is lovely and has all the mod cons. Screened in porch is perfect for evenings away from the bugs. We enjoyed the beach and all the water vessels too. Just the perfect getaway!
