About Christopher Boyle

Grew up and currently live outside Philadelphia Pa. Always enjoyed going to the Jersey shore for vacation and spend allot of time in Avalon NJ. Love being on the water and all the activities such as boating, fishing, snorkeling, wave running, and enjoy fine dining as well.

Christopher Boyle purchased this house in 2014

Why Christopher Boyle chose Upper Florida Keys

We chose Islamorada for many reasons. First, it is truly tropical and has the blue waters you only see on the islands. The fishing is best in the world. The waterfront dining is wonderful and it has many activities for all ages. It is close to Key West if you want to get a little crazy and pretty easy access from Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Being from the North we wanted to extend our summers and where better to do that than in the Florida Keys.

What makes this house unique

The benefits of the Anglers Reef Community and what really makes this property unique are as follows; It offers single home living, no condo, no elevators, quiet true single family home. It has private beaches. Beaches are sometimes hard to come by in the Keys, but this has a very nice well maintained beach that offers relaxation as well as kayak launching, fishing and exploring. The community also has a resort style heated pool that has incredible ocean views, and there are private boat docks as well. In our very long and detailed house search, we did not find anything that even came close to the amenities offered at this community

Fantastic stay!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I (children 6, 8, 11 and 12) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Angler's Reef! The property is beautifully maintained and has everything to ensure a comfortable stay. We particularly appreciated having access to fishing rods and a kayak! The community is very friendly and the grounds are lovely. The owner, Chris, is very helpful and responsive. We'd come again for sure!

Absolutley Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

What a treat it was to stay in Islamorada in Chris' wonderful house! My husband and I were there for two weeks in early February, 2017. The house is well appointed with everything you need to cook or grill (except the food!), and the furnishings were comfy and cozy. We especially enjoyed grilling and dining out on our little back porch. The community of Angler's Reef is gated, safe, quiet, and beautifully kept! The grounds are immaculate, the pool area is gorgeous-and even though the complex was fairly full-there was always chairs available for us there. The beach area is very nice. It was especially great for sunset sitting with a cocktail. We also used the beach for our kayak launch (kayak provided by Chris with the rental. Along with seats, life vests, paddles, and fishing gear). We also enjoyed our morning walks to the Starbucks down the road about a mile, and our dinner walks a few blocks to Hog Heaven and Island Grill! Chris' suggestions as to other exceptional dining/cocktail/sunset viewing spots were also much appreciated. We tried to hit them all. We especially loved Chef Michaels (try their Hogfish with the mixed nut batter! Sooooo Good!!) and Lazy Days (any fish with their Lazy Days sauce is scrumptious!). And, cocktails at Cheeca Lounge is a must! (Their Coconut Margarita was my absolute favorite!) Plus....the grounds there are worth seeing. Exquisite! And, to top it off, the weather was perfect every single day of our vacation. Thank you, Chris for sharing your lovely home. I will heartily recommend it to everyone. We can't wait to return!

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for the great review. We know vacations are a time for fun and relaxation and a time where memories are created. We just want our home to be worry free and comfortable and our community works hard to ensure our grounds and our facilities are the best they can be.

Great!

  • 5 of 5

Anglers Rest is a lovely gated community. The location is good for exploring down the Keys and still being convenient to Miami International. The landscaping is fabulous. That pool was lovely. We very much enjoyed the included kayak. Having a gas grill was great. Ditto the washer/dryer. The convenience of the coded lock instead of a key was a plus. The house itself has a great layout. The flooring and baths were particularly beautiful. The only disappointments were the orientation of the house making the porches front onto the traffic circle in the front and our parked car in the back and consequently the lack of view and outdoor sitting. We also would have enjoyed attractive sets of dishes and glassware as we ate most of our meals in. Chris, our host, was wonderful about checking on us. Highly recommend!

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

This property was the ideal location in Islamorada and the gated community in which the home resides is small enough to be seconds from the pool/dock/beach within Anglers Reef. Because the community is so small the pool was never congested, and virtually every time we were at the beach we had it to ourselves. The beach is more of a marine biology experience than a swimming one, but because of that it was amazing for my 8 year old son in terms of learning & discovery. The beach was also wonderful for launching the kayak that was provided by the home owners. The interior of the home was beautiful and had every convenience needed for meals at home. If staying here I strongly encourage everyone to head to the beach after dark and sit in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the stars. Also, the owners were incredibly professional, kind, responsive and accommodating. We had the absolute perfect vacation!

This property is beautiful and the development is the BEST on Islamorada-we loved sitting on the adirondack chairs watching the sunset, fishing from the dock and swimming in the gorgeous pool. Chris-the owner was responsive to all our needs.
