Take a 5 min bus ride or 15 min walk/cycle/run along the beautiful Bow River pathway to Downtown. There are green spaces nearby as well as the Calgary Zoo, Inglewood Pool, Bird Sanctuary, Golf course, Stampede Grounds, and much more.

Our house has everything you need to feel at home whilst vactioning in one of the most vibrant cities in Canada. We are a female couple and feel very safe in this warm and friendly neighborhood. We love great nights with food and friends and this neighborhood offers music venues, lively pubs filled with and a great range of restaurants.

This is an older home but completely renovated throughout - great kitchen & living /dining rooms downstairs complete with all the comforts of home! Upstairs bedrooms & baths also very roomy & comfortable. Fully enclosed back yard with patio furniture, BBQ and garage. Ideal location within walking distance of river trails, downtown, Stampede grounds & trendy shops & restaurants on 9th Ave. Will definitely be back!
House worked well for the 4 of us while visiting Calgary for the Stampede and a family reunion. Clean and well equipped with nice spots to sit outdoors.
Food shopping not nearby but Crossroads Market had some of the food we needed and lots of other interesting things.
A walkable distance from Stampede grounds for younger fit persons; 20 - 30 min.
This beautifully updated home was delightful. The quality throughout made the four days into a wonderful vacation experience. Mandy handled a couple of minor glitches quickly and was extremely helpful. Can't wait to come again on my next Calgary trip.
This lovely house was just as described. Very comfortable couches for TV watching. Great kitchen facilities and the beds were very cosy and comfortable. We didn't use the outdoor facilities as this was the time when the smoke from wildfires was very bad. Thankfully, it didn't spoil the trip too much.
Wonderful location. I couldn't believe that to get to the zoo you turn left at the end of the street, drive straight for about 3 minutes and arrive at the zoo entrance. The river walkways were so close you could walk to them. Inglewood is a great older community with lots of little shops and galleries.
Last but not least. Our hostess, Mandy, even though we never met in person, was always immediately available when there was a question.
I don't believe it was mentioned in the house description that there are steep stairs going up to the bedrooms. If one has difficulty doing stairs that may be a concern. Other than that I would recommend this house very highly. It was very good value for the cost.
everything at this property was as described.from the courtyard garden, spacious living, dining room, well appointed kitchen with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots &pans and bbq supplies, right thru to the tranquil backyard with bbq,ambient lighting and deck. Upstairs were 2 large bedrooms with onsuite baths. Lots of windows and light. Very clean and well maintained. Mandy ....was available for all of our questions and was very accommodating to our early arrival. Roy and Bev in basement apartment ¸were the most delightful couple. Very helpful with orientating us to the city, restaurants and just enjoying their company We loved staying at Mandy`s home. Beautiful new shower, bathroom, only suggestion would be somewhere to put soap and shampoo in shower although I`m sure this has already been taken care of. Close to Saddledome and stampede grounds. Loved the big breakfasts at Reds, in Ramsey.Thank you
We were very pleased with this vacation home. It was a very nice pet friendly home. We could tell that the owners had paid attention to detail such as cleanliness, updating this vintage home, pleasing decor, and provision of many household supplies especially stock items in the kitchen. We also appreciated the green space in the front and the fenced area in the back for our dog. A bonus was having garage space for our car. The neighborhood is one of the oldest in Calgary and is a short drive to the upcoming trendy area of Inglewood (shopping, restaurants) and good access to major routes in Calgary. There is a shortage of pet friendly rental homes in Calgary so this home was a bonus for us and much appreciated. We would certainly stay there again.
