Perfect retreat for my family of four after a day of skiing and site seeing. Very private, quiet and a convenient location to town. The cottage is very tastefully done and extremely cozy; a perfect fit for a long weekend. My only comment would be some upgrades to the TV's would be nice, however we weren't there for the television. Quite apparent that every detail was carefully seen to when the renovation was done. We liked the private driveway and it would certainly make for a great location when visiting in the none winter months as the town is an easy walk for sure. Comfortable & Clean, we would certainly rent it again!
My wife and 2 girls, ages 8 and 4, stayed there over MLK weekend. It was truly perfect for us. So close to downtown Manchester, our own cottage for a few days. We had a blast and the house was perfect. Heated floors were a major plus!!!
The only thing better than this cottage is the owner, Bob. The cottage was in prestine condition and absolutely gorgeous. Every amenity imaginable was available to us from the Adirondack chairs outside to the trail maps of Equinox mountain. The kitchen had a surplus of accesseries and utensils. One night we even made lasagna! The upstairs holds two spacious bedrooms where we felt like we were in a mountain hideaway. We could not have felt more at home during our stay here!
Bob had an encyclopedia of recommendations, the topper being going to see the local legend, Andy, perform at The Falcon Bar in The Equinox Hotel. This is just a short walk from the cottage through the woods. We especially enjoyed visiting the Equinox Pond and making fires out back under the stars when we returned home at night.
Our only complaint was that our vacation wasn't longer :( Thanks Bob!!!
It was our second visit to this lovely cottage, which does not disappoint. It is tastefully decorated, well equipped and within walking distance of the Equinox. The grounds are beautifully maintained and we enjoyed having coffee outdoors, gazing at the lovely yard and woods beyond. We ourselves immensely and I recommend a stay in this charming abode without hesitation!
We stayed here for three nights while attending a conference at the Equinox. My wife, daughter and I were comfortable and well equipped for a relaxing long weekend in a wonderfully convenient location.
This little cottage was a great rental for us. We were in town for a wedding and found that we were just a short drive from everything we needed. The full kitchen was excellent and having heated tile floors was a treat when the temperatures dropped. The house was close to shopping and dining, but with the hills it was a bit of a walk and easier to drive. We had a 4 month old with us and it was a perfect layout. One thing to note is that the stairs don't have a railing and wouldn't be safe for a mobile small child. There were a few supplies and toiletries, but I would suggest bringing plenty of paper products, extra trash bags and your own toiletries if you are staying for more than a couple of days. Also, there are no bars in the closets for hanging clothes. Overall we were very pleased and would stay here again!
