This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom private home is a vacation rental home set back from the street in the heart of beautiful and historic downtown Charleston.

Just a block away from upper King Street, the new epicenter of the city's renowned restaurant and nightlife district. Enjoy some of Charleston's best local dining with Hominy Grill, Five Loaves, Two Boroughs Larder, The Grocery, and The Ordinary all located within 3 blocks of the house. This wonderful cultural city also offers galleries, museums, gorgeous churches, carriage tours, great shopping, and the beach is just minutes away.

Important Information to note:

Guests enter on the main floor. There are no bedrooms on the main floor. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a King size bed and one with a Queen size bed. Downstairs there is a twin size trundle bed that sleeps two in two twins. There is a pull-out sofa in the living area on the main floor.

Provided is one free OFF-STREET parking space

When renting a car we suggest reserving an economy size for parking.

Linens & Towels are provided

Household items/appliances include microwave, oven, stove, coffee maker, coffee filters, fridge, toaster oven, hairdryer, iron and board, dishes, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner, soap, W/D, and laundry detergent.

2 night minimum stay.

Friday and Saturday nights must be reserved together.

Rates are based on time of year and events.

Check in is at 4 PM, Check out is at 11 AM.

When booking flights be keep these times in mind as we do not make any exceptions for early check in or late check out.

Pets are NOT allowed.

Great Place!

Over all I was very satisfied with this property. It is very beautiful and in a GREAT location. Would definitely stay here again!

Weather permitting (we got caught in a few rain storms), you are in walking distance to a lot of great places - like Prohibition restaurant (BRUNCH!) and Sugar Bakery.

Some things to note:

A little smaller than the pictures let on.

We had a group of girls for a bachelorette party, so it was a little cramped with everyone trying to get ready at once.

Only one parking spot - so make sure to scope out the street parking situation if your group has more than one vehicle.

Lovely Place to Experience

We had 3 adults and 1 child and it was perfect for us! Easy access to several great restaurants plus tucked away from busy streets.

Everything was clean and new. Great AC and towels & linens. We had a bit of trouble with hot water coming and going in the showers but quickly learned to just turn back to hot water and then ease to cold to warm the shower water back up quickly. Wasn't much of a problem.

Our 7 year old hardly wanted to leave he loved the spiral staircases so much!!

We had an amazing time and would gratefully rent again!!

We went to Charleston for a girls trip, this is our new favorite city to visit!! The location was excellent and the house was beautiful! We were walking distance, about a block and a half, from King street and about 20 minutes from the beaches driving! We walked and Ubered everywhere! I wouldn't recommend this house for small children because of the spiral steps, but it's perfect for an adult getaway! Perfect house for our girls trip!! I'd stay here again for sure!

Beautiful, light-filled, perfect location

This is a breathtaking and totally unique space, with a cozy sunken living room perfect for family time and huge second-floor windows that make it feel like you are living in a tree overlooking the city. The location is right in the heart of Upper King, a short walk from all the hip restaurants and shops you could ever want. We would happily stay here again. One word of caution, though: all the staircases are spiral, so it requires extra attention for toddlers and dogs (actually, our dog never did get the hang of the stairs and we had to carry him up and down).Well worth it for the exceptional beauty.

Live as a local

This very clean condo is part of a small grouping of older re-habbed buildings, within easy walking distance of good restaurants and bakery shops. Also only .2 miles away is King St, the Bourbon Street of Charleston.

The unit comes with one assigned parking space, which is a blessing in the streets in the immediate area that require a special 'residents-only' sticker for on street parking.

Everything inside the unit is new. Washer-dryer, fridge, dishwasher, multiple TV's including in 2 bedrooms, and keyless security system. Most importantly the air-conditioning system is also easy to use, new, like everything else and works flawlessly in the often humid city, that at times becomes unbearable combined with the heat of summer and early autumn.

We felt comfortable with 5 adults. More than that would be tight in navigating the slim walkways throughout this place. The sunken living room and spiral staircases would not be good for children. Senior citizens who have difficulty with stairs and depth perception would not enjoy these two aforementioned features either. There are no bedrooms on main level, metal spiral staircases must be used for all sleeping quarters. The condo requires a staircase and a half walk up as well, up from the parking lot. This should not deter otherwise fit and mobile people, as it is a great value. It's great not being treated like a tourist as typical hotel venues where everything costs so much. Here you simply pop -out for quick sandwiches or make your own. Great coffeemaker too, and of course, it's new!

Really cool house

The house is really different, and we enjoyed our stay. It is in a very private spot and walking distance from a very "happening" section of King St.

However, there are a couple of suggestions that we feel would benefit your future guests; most of the light bulbs were burned out on the large chandelier and wall sconces, you may want to check these before your next guests arrive. You may want to reconsider replacing the mattress in the master bedroom.

There are horse and carriage rides, multiple walking tours and historic house tours located just several blocks away. Many local boutiques and restaurants are easily available and walkable to enjoy during your days. Local farmers markets and festivals occur regularly here in our city at Marion Square conveniently located just 4 blocks away.
