In a peaceful residential area but still walking distance to most major sights including Old town etc...Prague monuments and the river itself with its vintage ferries. Spacious and comfortable, 3.6 meter tall ceilings, recently renovated maintaining all original features such as parquetry flooring throughout, massive chandelier-lit grand entry foyer. Decorated with art deco antiques. 2 large bedrooms, spacious living room with 2 fold out sofas. Perfection in Prague
From the moment we booked, the owner, Gino was most attentive -- and responded to any and all queries promptly, courteously and efficiently. Upon arrival, Karel, the manager, came to the apartment to ensure that all was well -- and left us a delightful bottle of wine in the fridge. Later in the visit, I had inadvertently forgotten to bring the charger for my camera with me and Karel very kindly lent me his own for the duration of the stay. The apartment itself is beautiful with the most outstanding views of the River Vltava below from the windows and balcony; and many hours were spent enjoying the vista. The location was great -- only a few stops on the metro to the Old Quarter (Praha 1), after a short walk across the bridge. Being in Praha 5 (Smichov) was a huge advantage in that it was away from the 'hubub' of the Old Town and situated in a 'real' neighbourhood -- with great restaurants (most kindly recommended by Gino)...we especially enjoyed Lavande and ate there several times). Every one of Gino's recommendations were excellent... and we enjoyed all the cafes and restaurants he guided us to. (Thanks Gino!). We could not be happier with the apartment, the location nor the wonderful support from Gino and Karel and are looking forward to a return visit very soon.
Paradise in Prague
From the moment of our first contact with the owner, Gino, to the last we were very impressed with his prompt responses and advice for any inquiry. Renting from him was truly a pleasure.
As for the apartment itself, it is wonderfully located and nicely appointed with all that you would need for a long or short term stay. The location of the apartment right on the river allows you a beautiful view of the activity on the water. A rowing club is nearby and it is relaxing to sit on the terrace and watch the sculls and the other boat traffic.
Old Town and Charles Bridge are just a short walk from the apartment. It was nice to stroll to all of the various points of interest . You do not need to use public transportation as everything
Is accessible on foot.
What we enjoyed the most about the apartment was that it is located just outside of the busy and heavily trafficked tourist areas. After sightseeing by day we could return to the peace and tranquility of the apartment.
As for transportation from the airport ,Gino recommended Prague Airport Transfer. We used the company both for the airport transfer and a transfer to the train station for a sidetrip to Vienna. The company is extremely prompt and reliable. I would highly recommend them.
In relation the neighbourhood , everything you need is nearby. There is a fabulous Tesco just three blocks away in a large mall.There are some lovely local restaurants just blocks away including,
Lavande, Manu and Pastar.You are a 10 minute walk from Petrin Hill which offers you the best views of the Old City from the top of the hill . You have the option of taking the tram to the top however it can be very busy at times and the line for tickets can be quite long.
The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable .We would highly recommend this apartment.

We loved the apartment. Having a family of 4 adults in this apartment was a joy. There was a lot of space to move around and comfortable seating to review the days activities. The location was very convenient to everything we did in Prague. We would recommend to others
Lovely apartment with a great location
This is a lovely apartment that is very nicely furnished and appointed with everything that you would need for a comfortable stay. Gino was so easy to work with and always very responsive. He even had the kitchen stocked with some basic supplies which was very appreciated. The apartment is in a safe and walkable part of Prague and if you don't feel up to walking it is easy to find an Uber or taxi. I would suggest this property to anyone visiting Prague.
Really comfortable and a great location
The flat was a really comfortable place to stay in a great location. It is easy to walk along both sides of the river into the centre of town. Despite it being freezing outside, having a view like that was great.
The living room and kitchen were great places to be together (even though sitting around the kitchen table could be slightly tight).
There was plenty of room for the four of us and we all would really like to return.
One of the best views in Prague, directly on the riverfront. 15 min walk from King Charles Bridge .Located on the border of Mala Strana (Lesser town) and historic Smichov. In a residential area surrounded by stunning art nouveau buildings. Within walking distance to most major sights - Lesser town, New town, Old town etc...With shops and services within 5 min walk. Andel, a major transportation hub with metro, tram and bus lines also within 5 min walk. Nearest tram station with several lines to all areas of Prague just 300 metres/4minute walk away.

EUR 50 fee applicable to late check ins in excess of 1 hr delay. Check in cannot be guaranteed if delayed more than 2 hrs. Check in time to be advised no less than 3 days prior to arrival. Rental balance including security deposit must be received no later than 7 days prior to arrival in cleared funds.Security damage bond EUR 300. Payable via Paypal 7 days prior to check in, refunded within 48 hrs of departure subject to final inspection of the property. Property is strictly non smoking with the exeption of balcony.
