The bright, sunny 2 bedroom affords superb privacy, located on the 2nd floor of the Dutch-styled building. There is nothing quite like relaxing on the balcony after a long day of diving or snorkeling. Although waking up, pouring a cup of coffee and meandering out on the balcony to see dolphins arching across the water while a cruise ship passes by to port in Kralendijk is not too bad either!
We have traveled all over the Caribbean for many years, always with the dream/goal of buying our own place on the water. We love to snorkel, hike, go boating, bicycle, and relax on the beach. When we finally checked off Bonaire on our list of places to visit, we immediately knew we had found our second home. During several visits we searched for the perfect place, and finally found it. We bought our little gem, OceanScape Bonaire, in early 2008, and in late summer 2010 we could not resist the opportunity to purchase OceanVista, our fabulous penthouse. AND NOW, introducing our newly acquired OceanEdge.

When you walk through the door into your condo, you will pass through the archway into an open great room that includes the kitchen, dining area, and living room. It is a spacious area with floor to ceiling full glass doors that open onto the main balcony. From almost anywhere in the room there is a broad sweeping view across the sea. New,tasteful tropical décor puts you in the mood for your restful vacation.
There is an electronic security alarm system on the condo for your peace of mind.
The living room area includes new Caribbean contemporary furnishings, a flat panel LCD TV, Blu-ray / DVD player, and stereo with IPod docking station. Three secured WIFI connections available to you free of charge in addition to one unsecured resort connection. No worries about WIFI -- you will have a good connection.
The beautifully remodeled kitchen is loaded with all you need (really, I like to cook!). Modern fridge, built-in oven and ceramic cook top, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, toaster, blender and electric kettle. We even provide a crockpot! Granite countertops offer plenty of workspace if you feel like cooking and enjoying a meal on the privacy of your own balcony with that gorgeous view, or at your lovely indoor dining venue. Smokey Joe grill you can take with you to the beach for a BBQ picnic.
For a special treat, light some candles, pop a bottle of wine, and dine al fresco at night on the balcony. The glow of the pool and across the dark sea, the shimmering lights of the island shore will stir your senses....just try it.
The master bedroom suite has a private bath with large walk-in shower. Memory foam-topped, comfy king-size bed, plenty of fluffy pillows, nice sized closet and dresser and 32' flat screen TV with Blu-ray player . The bedroom opens through French doors onto a small balcony, with a view that will make you cry when you have to leave. Another door from the balcony opens onto the large, main balcony overlooking the pool, and a magnificent view of the sea, Klein Bonaire, and the entire western shoreline of the island.
The second bedroom suite is just a gem. Two beds with memory foam toppers can be put together or kept separate. A private ensuite bath, roomy closet and large dresser, individually controlled a/c unit (or turn it off and open the window for a fabulous trade wind to caress your tropical dreams), and 32' flat panel TV with Blu-ray player...quiet, delightful private retreat.
OceanEdge rents either as a one bedroom or a two bedroom. If rented as a one bedroom, the second bedroom suite will be locked out. In this configuration, the condo is one bedroom, one and a half bath. The second bedroom suite is available for only $20 per person per night.
A safe is available in the condo for your use.
Off the stairside balcony there is a laundry room with a washing machine and a drying rack.
Four beach chairs and a cooler provided.

Beautiful oceanfront location with gorgeous professionally maintained tropical gardens, Well maintained privately owned property. Excellent location with adjacent beach.
* Snorkel and dive directly in front of the condo. Easy ladder entry for you to use, steps away from your door, very short swim to 18th Palm or Windsock dive sites. Spectacular snorkeling and diving right in front of you. Dockside rinse tank, freshwater shower, and hanging hooks.
* Walk to beach. TeAmo/Donkey beach/Windsock is a few steps south of your condo through a secure access gate.
* Dive shop directly next door. Stay with us for a 20% discount at Dive-Friends Bonaire on air/nitrox, shore and boat dive packages, and dive courses.
* Close to the action. You are less than a 10 minute drive to the coveted south shore dive sites or windsurfing at Lac Bay, and 5 minutes to the center of Kralendijk.
* Easy access to the airport, rental cars, grocery, and a short walk to Plaza Resort, where you will find boat rental, water sports, tennis and restaurants. We don't even rent a car when we arrive. We roll our luggage across the street and get settled in, and then rent a car later when the crowds have died down at the car rental counters, or even the next day.(And don't worry, the airport is not noisy here - - it is much noisier at places a little further south in Belnem due to the orientation of the single runway)
* Second floor and the additional sense of security it brings, not to mention the enhanced view.

Everything was in excellent shape, clean, and very comfortable. If I could give it six stars I would. It is incredibly convenient to the airport and to good snorkeling. You can walk across the street to the condo from the airport, change to a swim gear and be snorkeling in beautiful coral reefs 10 minutes after you get your luggage. The directions provided by the owner, Connie, are the best we have ever had for any rental. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Very well screened in if you likes the open air without the bugs. (no holes in the screens unlike a few other properties I have stayed in). Will definitely recommend to others.

We stayed in this property for two weeks beginning August 27, 2016. During the rental process Connie answered all questions promptly and the property was exactly as described. We did have a minor weather-related problem which was immediately resolved by Connie and Vladimir, who just happened to be staying in their condo during the time we were renting one of their other properties. They also have a property manager who made contact with us several times to make sure that everything was fine and asked if there was anything he could do for us.
This condo is very well maintained and beautifully decorated. Although the appliances were not familiar to us, the owner's manuals were all handy and made the transition very easy. I actually liked the microwave better than the one I have in my home.
As divers, one of the best things about the condo was that they have in the condo the REEF Fish ID, REEF Coral ID and REEF Creature ID books. It is so nice not to have to pack those and bring them along. Also Dive Friends (a great operation) has a location right next door, so we were able to get tanks there, and they also provided lockers to store our equipment. Plus, Connie gave us a 20% coupon to use at Dive Friends.
Port Bonaire is located across the street from the airport. That being said, we were really not aware of planes coming and going as there is very little noise.
We will definitely rent from Connie and Vladimir the next time we stay on Bonaire.
We very much enjoyed our family holiday in Bonaire, and staying at Oceanedge was a big part of making our visit so great. Everything was just as it was described, from the directions to the condo, to all of the amenities. The kids loved the pool and the beach right next door was a great little snorkelling spot. We even did a little photo shoot, capturing our family Christmas picture on the beach! All of the tips in Connie's info package were much appreciated as we explored the island over the course of our week's stay. We mostly snorkelled, but also did a day of deep sea fishing. Captain Yuri with Big Game Fishing was great, and we had a great day with him on his boat! We only needed a car for a few days, as everything is so central that catching a taxi at the airport was sufficient for a quick trip to the grocery store. Bonaire is such a relaxing, natural place, and we look forward to coming back someday! I definitely plan on recommending Oceanedge to close family and friends!
This is my 19th trip to the island. So I know a lot of different places to stay. This condo had everything ~ the best view on the island. Plenty of balcony room to enjoy over a meal or a game of cards. The beds are really comfortable. Just like home. Even the pillows were great. Connie took care of every detail. My husband is a chef. There is such a well equipped kitchen we were so happy. Not just pots and pans, but gadgets. They have a cooler and beach chairs for the beach. TV in both bedrooms and the living room. And NETFLIX was hooked up to the living room TV. I'm booking my next trip here.
If you are making the trip to Bonaire, you probably already know the main activities are scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, windsurfing, kite surfing, fishing, biking, and hiking. Port Bonaire is constructed at the edge of a channel with a protective jetty in front, so entry to the sea is always calm and easy. TeAmo/Donkey Beach/Windsock, just next door, is one of the most popular beaches on the island. It can be accessed through a secure gate with coded lock. By making arrangements with Dive Friends (we can put you in touch with them directly), depending on what time you arrive on island, you very well may be able to do your dive orientation the same day your arrive.
