We had a wonderful stay in this adorable home. Very comfortable fun place. Walking distance to the new Ross Island brewery and also bushwhacker cider was a fun place.

Great Stay in Residential PDX

  • 4 of 5

My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing July stay at this comfy house in the Brooklyn neighborhood of Portland, a part of town that we'd not stayed in before, but that we'll look to again for future stays. Mostly residential, but with easy access to commercial and industrial spots (including Bullseye Glass, for you glass people), and short walks to pubs and such, the neighborhood was great for folks looking to avoid the hotel route and experience the quieter side of Portland.

The house is well appointed for all your needs, with funky décor to ensure you know you're not in a beige-box hotel room. Laundry room downstairs made it easy to pack light. The deck out front was a delight for sipping morning coffee and watching the neighborhood wake up, and for enjoying an evening glass of pinot noir and watching the neighborhood tuck in for the night.

Perfect launching pad for a weekend spent exploring craft and the great outdoors!

  • 5 of 5

Wow! What a cool place. You've seen the pictures of the inside. Colourful, retro and weird, just like Portland! The beds were comfy, the shower was hot and ease of access were all spot on. We found everything that we needed except for umbrellas which would clearly be a luxury item in a rental unit but that was the only thing that we needed that we didn't find. The neighbourhood was so much fun to explore. Lots of great craft beer bars and breakfast places nearby. Would recommend Kevin's place for sure! Thanks for a great stay! - Tim, Theresa, Doug & Shelly

Cute, cozy and convenient!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the house. The upstairs/downstairs layout was perfect for our two families! It has a great art vibe and there is something new to look at around each corner. The kitchen had everything we needed to feed our clan. The house was extremely clean and seemed very well maintained.

The house is so conveniently located to downtown Portland and mass transit. We took buses and trains and loved being able to leave the car at the house.

Kevin was very helpful and patient when we had trouble making the combination lock work.

All in all, we recommend the house and hope to return some day.
