About Owner/Property Manager

First Tracts Real Estate and Rentals rose from simple beginnings, and has become a premier real estate business at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Alumni of WVU, co-owners Peter Monico and Dave Simmons, with degrees in business/communications and business, worked for Playground Destination Properties, and gained knowledge and wisdom in the real estate market in our region. With three years under their belt, Pete and Dave branched out and created their own real estate business on the mountain.

In April of 2007, First Tracts was formed. Two years later we began the popular Rental Management division of the company, managing just a small handful of homes.

Today First Tracts manages over a hundred homes in a variety of sizes and neighborhoods, both on and near the mountain. With a dedication to exemplary guest service, First Tracts Real Estate and Rentals has become the best source of upscale vacation rentals at Snowshoe.

NIce place but no housekeeping.

When we arrived for checkin, the unit hadn't been cleaned or beds made. BAd communication between management co. And hotel. we had to clean rooms ourselves and makeup beds at 11:00p.m. With 3 exhausted little kids. The place is furnished nicely but any place with a carpeted eating area needs a vacuum cleaner. There is none and really needs one. We had to bribe the hotel housekeeping to loan theirs. Be aware you need your own supplies, soaps, dishwashing soap, detergent for washer to wash your towels which you'll need to do if you stay more than a weekend as just the basics are provided. The front desk is useless as they have nothing to do with the private owners rental management company so we spent a lot of time just finding out who is responsible for what service. The information numbers from the management co. Were also incorrect. Nothing in kitchen but salt and pepper. Nice place, good bed. But be prepared for no services. all the units around us had housekeeping services and their lives were so much easier.

Owner's Response: The Housekeeping Service for this condo was notified of this guest's arrival seven days in advance of their arrival date. Housekeeping missed it on the arrival date of 12/26, which is the busiest check in date of the year, and we did all within our power to make it right with the guest whose arrival was missed. Thank you for notifying us of the incorrect contact information numbers, those numbers have been corrected.
