Visiting Brooklyn or Manhattan for family, sights, or work? Enjoy a spacious, warm atmosphere, where old world charm and modern furnishings coexist peacefully. Natural light fills the room with a warm glow making it perfect to sip your morning coffee, check your email over the wi-fi, and read the paper before the day’s events. After a day of sight-seeing or visiting with family, curl up on the sofa to watch TV or walk half a block to Vanderbilt Avenue to choose from some of Brooklyn's most delicious restaurants.
We have a fully furnished 1 bedroom apartment (750 sq ft floor thru) for nightly, weekly or monthly rental in our Brooklyn brownstone. In our neighborhood in Brooklyn, Prospect Heights, you get the best of both worlds: we are on a quiet tree-lined block, but we are also half a block away from Vanderbilt Avenue, where some of Brooklyn's hottest restaurants and bars are located: Olmstead, White Tiger, The Vanderbilt, Chuko - to name a few. Bakeries and cafes include Milk Bar, Joyce's Bakeshop, and Little Cupcake Shop. We are 2 blocks away from Grand Army Plaza, the entrance to Prospect Park, in Prospect Heights. We are a 10 minute walk to Barclays Center, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. All the amazing neighborhoods on Brooklyn that you have heard about are easily accessible: Williamsburg, Park Slope, Ft. Greene, Red Hook, Cobble Hill, 5th Ave, Smith Street.
The apartment was clean and stylish and QUIET. Rita was so very accommodating with my need for flexible dates which then needed last minute extending. I loved the neighborhood and how comfortable it was to walk...everywhere. I've desired a place that I would "look forward" to returning on my visits to daughter and family. And now I've found it!!!
Clean, comfortable bed. Host VERY helpful. Would highly recommend for a stay in Brooklyn. Five Star
On a lovely tree lined street, this apartment is centrallly located in a bustling neighborhood filled with restaurants, coffee shops, markets, pharmacy near Prospect Park, and subways for easy access to NYC. The apartment itself is clean, sunny and bright tho a tad small for more than one person. The furniture, except the bed, is uncomfortable and access is by 3 steep flights of stairs.
My wife and I have stayed at about 10 different VRBO apartments in the NYC area (Manhattan and Brooklyn) over the past years, and this one was the best. Nice large bedroom with an excellent king size bed that was the most comfortable I have ever slept on in a hotel or vacation rental. A marvelous bath, and a nice living/ dining/ kitchen area. Very clean. It was everything we wanted. Close to two different subway lines with access to anything we wanted, mostly museums and the theater. Adam and Rita were wonderful hosts. They were there when we had a question, but otherwise non intrusive. We highly recommend this Park Slope apartment.
This apartment was everything we hoped for and more! It was clean, spacious and very comfortable, with an amazing bathroom! The hosts were wonderful to communicate with prior to arrival and addressed any of our minor questions while we were there immediately! We commuted to Manhatten almost everyday by subway and it was around 20 minutes and easy. After a busy day we were always happy to get back to our peaceful apartment and scout out a great local restaurant. This is THE place to stay in Brooklyn!
Lindos restaurantes, cafeterías y supermercado a pocos metros.
