Why Marie chose Olympic Peninsula

We feel in love with Port Angeles in 2009 and found a home that let us connect with the sea. We love watching all the activity in the Straits and have a little group of deer that love to lounge in the yard. The Port Angeles Community is vibrant with many weekend festivals throughout the summer and the Olympic Peninsula offers unlimited opportunities for hiking and exploring. Art is alive from downtown sculptures and galleries to the Fine Arts Museum and Webster's Woods.

We hope you enjoy your stay and come to love the North Olympic Peninsula as much as we do.

Lovely cottage

  • 4 of 5

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely little cottage. It was just right for our family of 5. Marie, our host, thought of all the amenities you could possibly need. The cottage was very clean. In fact, one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. We appreciated that the cleanup required before checkout was very minimal. The only reason for the 4 stars rating is due to poor wifi signal and the full bed in one of the bedrooms was not very comfortable for 2 adults. It would probably be great for 2 kids. I will say that we are used to sleeping on a queen bed. We would stay here again and would recommend to friends to stay here as well.

Fabulous Cottage!

  • 5 of 5

We had a basketball tournament in Port Angeles and found this cottage for rent in town. We were extremely happy with everything! First and foremost we appreciated the communication with the owner, Marie. She helped with all over our questions and was flexible with our check out time. The cottage is very charming with Marie's personal touches shown throughout the cottage. We enjoyed having games, movies and puzzles available to choose from. We tried conquering the 500 piece jigsaw puzzle but the puzzle won! The cottage is very cozy and has a beautiful view of the water. Parking was easy. Next time we are in town we will definitely see about renting Marie's cottage again.

Quaint cozy cottage

  • 5 of 5

This cottage was just what we needed for our relaxing girls weekend on the Olympic Peninsula. It was very clean, had plenty of storage, fully stocked kitchen and amazing water pressure. The fireplace made it so cozy. The beds were all comfortable. Marie was very helpful and accommodating.

Good base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula

  • 5 of 5

We stayed just one night in this cozy cottage with our son and daughter-in-law. It served us very well as a place to settle in between 2 days of hiking in Olympic National Park. Found a grocery store and restaurant nearby. Kitchen had all we needed to fix meals. View was nice and the local deer were in the yard to greet us on arrival. Would stay there again for sure.

Wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

Marie's cottage was perfect for us! We needed a comfortable and cozy place to stay after we got off the ferry and before we started our Olympic Peninsula adventure. We loved that we could easily access the cottage using a code on the door. Everything was clean and tidy. There was a very helpful welcome book that answered all our questions for us. The welcome book even includes recommended restaurants in the area! We had pancakes at Chestnut Cottage and they may have been the best pancakes I've ever had. Marie was very helpful and responsive. We will certainly stay at this cute cottage if we're ever in the area again!
