Jack and Denise, always in love with the water, have enjoyed a variety of careers before landing at Waters Edge. For Jack, it was mechanical engineering hi-tech strategic alliances. Denise taught high school; was a newspaper reporter, director of publications/PR, and finally, innkeeper at their B&B on Cape Cod Bay. For 14 years, they welcome wonderful guests from all over the world. When it was time to retire, they built At Waters Edge, designed to accommodate guests in their own private space with amazing water views in a unique natural setting. You’ll have to excuse them if they brag a bit about their 2 doctor daughters and 4 hilarious grandchildren who love this special place as much they do.
Denise & Jack Kedian purchased this house in 2011

"At Waters Edge" is a very nice apartment directly located on Great Herring Pond. Because of the glass doors, there is a great view from the apartment directly to the pond. Swimming before breakfast, breakfast on the beach deck, relaxing, kayaking etc. - everything is possible only a stone's throw away.
The location of At Waters Edge is also a good starting point for trips to Historic Plymouth, Boston, and Cape Cod - but the most important thing , why At Waters Edge becomes a special place, is the wonderful hospitality of Denise, Jack and little Missy the Yorkie. Your questions regarding trips, eating places, nice locations to visit etc. are very welcome and there is always time for a nice talk. The little sign over the door says "Come as strangers, leave as friends" is not only words. Thank you for the wonderful time. You'll see us again.

I rented this beautiful and charming piece of paradise from the fall and throughout the winter and spring. It is truly a hidden gem all year round. This home is perfectly located in the gateway to cape cod. The layout of the house is divided in two floors and I was fortunate to stay in both, the upper floor provides a sunny, open floor plan, brand new appliances and furnishings, washer/dryer and central air. It has a private beach and a private dock that is a pleasure to wake up to and have breakfast in the mornings overlooking the lake.
The property is clean, exquisitely decorated and well maintained. The owners Denise and Jack are the most genuine and wonderful people! They make you feel like extended family. They truly care and worry that you will be comfortable and taken care of.
Each bedroom is tastefully decorated. The main bedroom is an elegant couples retreat with a queen bed overlooking the lake, I woke up every morning with a beautiful sunlight shining on my face .
For amenities the owners will provide you with kayaks and bikes and occasionally give you a ride in their boat. Thank you so much Jack and Denise for the wonderful stay and I look forward to come back soon.
Our family of four journeyed to MA for a relaxing 4th of July. We got just that with our vacation. It was a pleasant mix of sight seeing and relaxation. Our children ages 13 and 9 had a blast on the pond/ lake. They loved getting up from their bedrooms and heading out to the dock to swim. The sandy beach was a welcoming place to wade or swim. Jack and Denise have done a great job landscaping the beach area with a dock, deck, and grassy sitting area. Jack and Denise are such gracious hosts. They built a sweet relationship with all of us and have a special place in our hearts. Their gift of hospitality is unparalleled and a rare gift, but both Jack and Denise are so warm and make sure we had the best time during our stay there. Our children cannot wait to return to this place next summer.
The house was so clean and we were greeted by a bottle of wine. Our time was spent being a tourist and also relaxing by the beach. It is a vacation we look back on and are thankful that we had the privilege to stay at such a wonderful place.
We had the pressure of staying in this beautiful house for 3 weeks. We do not know how would be able to put the beauty of this place into words. You have to go and experience it for yourself to fully comprehend it. Our housemates Denise and Jack were the friendliest and most hospitable hosts ever. They did everything for our convenience and comfort. They were always warm and helpful and we felt at home. Their fine taste and elegance was reflected on the house it made it more dreamy. The boat tour on the pond that you can see from your window as the first thing you see in the morning, was a great adventure and the most delightful time we had there. The location was also a great advantage. It was right at the border of Cape Cod so we could enjoy the Cape without having to deal with the traffic. We would like to thank our dear friends Jack and Denise for everything they have done to make our holiday as perfect as it was. We will never forget that barbecue we had right on the dock on the water.
We rented this wonderful property from Denise and Jack for two weeks over the summer. It was an idyllic place - the place was beautiful, clean, and very well provisioned. The top level great room had a large, well-equipped kitchen where many a meal was prepared. We ate mostly in the lovely dining area, but also on special occasions had lunch and/or dinner ON THE DOCK! OMG, it was spectacular - a bbq and dining table for 6 right on the water was perfect. When we entertained it made for the most wonderful evenings and dinners. Speaking of the water, the 2 man kayak and pedal boat were at our disposal allowing us to explore and enjoy Herring Pond ( Not sure why New Englanders insist on calling it a pond, as it was most certainly more like a beautiful lake!). The place is well- decorated, and lovingly maintained. Very clean, with a washer/dryer conveniently located on the bedroom level. The master suite had a view of the lake - I woke up every morning to the most beautiful vistas. The location was perfect for us as we had friends nearby in Plymouth yet we were just minutes to the bridge to the Cape. If allowed us to have easy access to the Cape, but also to Boston, Rhode Island, and the other wonderful spots to visit in the summer. As fabulous as the home was, Denise and Jack, the owners, were equally wonderful. Warm, funny, generous, and wanting to ensure that our stay was perfect. It was easy to go from tenant/landlord to friends with them - we so enjoyed being at this little slice of heaven and will definitely be back! Thank you
Our family of four stayed at this beautiful waterfront home for one week in August and enjoyed wonderful times. It is an excellent rental in terms of comfort, amenities, safety, location, rates and very convenient especially with kids. Fully equipped from top to bottom in a centralized location with short commutes to every beautiful place in the Plymouth area. Most importantly, Jack and Denise were very welcoming, friendly, kind, loving and catered to our every need. They were very genuine, sincere and loving to our family and we thank them so much for such a great stay. We ended up having to extend our stay due to some minor setbacks and to my greatest surprise, Denise was up at 3 AM web browsing in search of a location for us. That was super! Also, we won’t forget when Jack ran upstairs asking if our two sons would like to go see the ducks in the pond – simply amazing! Captain Jack even allowed my 4-year-old son (thereafter, Captain Bren) steer his boat on a beautiful sightseeing cruise around the herring pond. You don't need to pack much to enjoy your stay here, just your suitcase will suffice. Thank you Denise and Jack for such a wonderful time and memories. We will definitely be back soon.
Waters Edge is slightly removed to a serene setting on a quite cove of Great Herring Pond, but also centrally located with easy access to Cape Cod and historic Plymouth. That being said there is much fun to be had at Waters Edge. Kayaking, paddle boating, swimming, and recreational fishing among a few. I was recently in the area for work and was accommodated by Jack and Denise on very short notice. They also went out of their way and allowed me to stay a few days when my work was extended. The high light of my stay was a leisurely tour of the pond with Jack and Denise in their boat. Thanks guys. Looking forward to staying again. Next time less work more fun.
