Clean, comfortable, well maintained house in a great neighborhood.

  • 5 of 5

This house is as described. The main level has two well furnished bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds, a great sitting area/living room, bathroom with tub/shower and well equipped kitchen with an adjacent dining area. The main bedroom has a great study adjacent with a desk and sitting area. The house is craftsman style with great light. The basement is finished, but is more of a "ski lodge" type feel - not the same standard as the main level. There is one enclosed bedroom in the basement with two single beds and two more single beds in an open area. There is a full bathroom downstairs. Basement is great for kids/overflow but has the central heating, water heater, ducts etc, much less light and as stated not the same finish as main level. The house is in a great, historic neighborhood on a quiet street. It is a few blocks away from the Fine Arts Center and Colorado College which has a beautiful campus and about a 15-20 minute pleasant walk to downtown with shops, restaurants and a movie theater. Overall, a clean, well maintained property in a great location. Owner is easy to work with and responsive. Would not hesitate to return.

Quaint, clean, cozy and roomy bungalow in a prime location!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, myself and our college-aged son spent Thanksgiving in this lovely bungalow allowing us to visit family for the week in a relaxed, spacious setting. The pictures on the website accurately depict this cozy, well-appointed bungalow near downtown Colorado Springs! The home was truly immaculate! The owner provided every amenity including a kitchen well-stocked with appliances and kitchenware making cooking for and entertaining our local family members a breeze. There is even a table leaf in one of the bedroom closets which added two more seats to the beautiful craftsman wood dining table. My family kept exclaiming "I can't believe you can rent a place like this"! Regarding the basement bedrooms, they are clean and nicely decorated and would (in my opinion) be fine for teenagers, however, I didn't see an egress window.

Thanks to other reviewers' comments, we found the Dogtooth Coffee shop (5 blocks east) for a nice bit of morning exercise and a decent cup a coffee as well as the Safeway store (just 7 blocks north on Wahsatch).

The lovely Colorado weather allowed us to grill out salmon filets in the backyard (with a spare tank of propane standing by, thank you, E. J.). Family members hung out on the patio furniture in the fenced and private back yard. The home is so well cared for and the owner so responsive that we felt like we were staying in one of our good friend's homes. No more Marriotts for me. We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely well appointed vintage home!

  • 5 of 5

Very clean and well appointed home in North Old Town Colorado Springs. There were 3 in our party and we had plenty of space to spread out. Beautiful hardwood floors and updated furnishings complimented the house. The house was centrally located to many of the tourist areas. We enjoyed Garden of the Gods, the Air Force Academy, and wonderful views of Pikes Peak! We had personal business in town and everything we needed was just a short drive away. The house was immaculate! I would definitely stay there again!

Cozy, craftsman bungalow in the heart of downtown Co Springs was perfect!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fantastic find in Old Historic North end Colorado Springs. Lots of space in the main living area, wide screen tv and even movie channels which pleased the hubby! This home was immaculate, boasting a renovated kitchen equipped with all the amenities of home (Keurig on counter but if you desire a regular coffee maker it's in the breakfast nook pantry). Pleased to have a few coffees to cover us until we could get to the store. Downstairs is a quaint basement with two rooms and two twin beds in each. Also a nice laundry room with front load washer and dryer. Two full bathrooms, one up and one down, while the one down is a shower unit the upstairs is a tub bath/shower unit. Lots of great lighting in the bathroom which was a pleasant surprise. Plenty of closet and storage space including dressers in the bedrooms. I loved the original lighting and hardware on the doors. Even the front door appeared be original to the home, such character! The rear courtyard was adorable, with pavers and seating for both conversation and dining. They even supply a grill for the nice Colorado evenings. There was an iron fence around most of the yard and a wooden privacy fence around back, all of which are padlocked giving a sense of security. The owner was a pleasure to work with and promptly refunded our security deposit after vacating. You're as close as you can be to downtown Co Springs. It's an excellent home base for day excurions in and near C.S. DO eat at the Garden of the Gods Cafe - you will love it! Don't miss Seven Falls, Pikes Peak, USAFA and Olympic Training Center! Don't hesitate to book this home, it was a pleasure (comfy beds and pillows too!). I truly wanted to bring the house back to South Carolina with me! Thank you for sharing your home!
