This cozy family beach house offers plenty of space for the whole family.
The house is a short walk to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the Oregon Coast, and is located in the beautiful Kiwanda Shores neighborhood, close to the Pelican Pub Brewery and Restaurant and the Cape Kiwanda Sand Dunes and Marine Garden.
There are two large common areas. The upstairs has a relaxing living and dining area that provide a great open atmosphere for everyone to gather with a board game. There is no WiFi in this home, but the Stimulus Cafe is across from the Pelican Pub, and offers free WiFi throughout the day.
The game and TV room (there's a DVD/VCR player) is downstairs and is highlighted by a brand new Ping Pong table that provides hours of family fun!
A full kitchen makes cooking for a large group relaxing and easy. Modern appliances, natural wood cabinets, and terracotta tiles add a homey feel. There is also a deck with a charcoal grill on the top level next to the kitchen, so it is easy to prepare meals both indoors and outdoors.
The home offers four bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, one with a full bed, and one with twin-over-full bunk bed. It comfortably accommodates up to eight guests.
Grab the boogie boards that are available for guest use and hit the waves. Spend a lazy morning sipping a hot beverage out on the back deck - you may even see a deer or two. Hiking and biking trails, fishing holes for crabbing and clamming, and a pretty nature trail are all close by!

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
NO CABLE ... NO ANTENNA !!!!!!!!!! If your hoping to catch "the game" while vacationing, choose another location or do like I did and spend 6 hrs @ the Sportsman Pub-n-grub. Nice house, nice location and descent amenities but c'mon man ... Really ... No cable !!! Booooooo
We were four 40+yr old dads with very little expectations for our weekend domicile. Especially considering we got it last minute. There is probably a reason it was available on such a busy weekend. When we sauntered off to our rooms for the first night's rest a couple of us found there were no sheets on the beds. Searching for mismatched sheets to make the bed at the end of the day was a first for me. Even though we eventually found some in various closets, I am not confident they were actually cleaned within the last season or so. ---
We went in knowing there was no internet (which considering the sheet situation is not a surprise) but the owner really needs to pony up the $30 or so a month to make that happen. Especially in light of the fact that there is no tv. Well, there is a tv and a dvd player, but unlike the warning of no internet, there is no warning of no programming, cable or otherwise. There was one dvd of a 50 year old classic, "death rides a horse,"which I enjoyed for the first time some 20 odd years ago, but it was a poor substitute for Saturday morning football while waiting to start the day. It is the 21st century. This house is in a heavily populated area. People are not coming here "to get away from it all." Add $3-$5 a night and come into the modern era. And make the beds while you're at it.
(I gave this two stars because it has a good location and was functional for 4 dudes away for the weekend. If I had brought my family it would have received one at best.)
Ummm...it would have been better without the neighbor issues. The house was fine, furnishing were fine for a house that was gonna get pummeled by my crew of kids and adults. But it is hard to know who it renting what next to you...it is the way it is when you vacation so close to other people with different ideas of vacationing...
Lots of space and great location. Place needs at least wifi to stay connected to the world and be able to let the kids watch a few shows. Just a suggestion...we enjoyed our stay!
We stayed in the house from July 12 to July 15, 2016. The location is great. The house has an unusual layout, but it was very bright and comfortable. The appliances are showing signs of wear. The right front burner on the stove didn't work, and the other burners were inconsistent. The kitchen sink really should have a garbage disposal; it plugs up very easily in normal day to day use. The top floor bathroom sink won't hold water, and the water valve handle is almost stuck. The window shades are in poor condition.
This was our first time traveling to Pacific City as well as a first time renting a house. I must say the experience was fantastic! The area was beautiful and having a house right in the middle of town was convenient and fun. We will definitely come back and do this again.
