This cozy family beach house offers plenty of space for the whole family.
The house is a short walk to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the Oregon Coast, and is located in the beautiful Kiwanda Shores neighborhood, close to the Pelican Pub Brewery and Restaurant and the Cape Kiwanda Sand Dunes and Marine Garden.
There are two large common areas. The upstairs has a relaxing living and dining area that provide a great open atmosphere for everyone to gather with a board game. There is no WiFi in this home, but the Stimulus Cafe is across from the Pelican Pub, and offers free WiFi throughout the day.
The game and TV room (there's a DVD/VCR player) is downstairs and is highlighted by a brand new Ping Pong table that provides hours of family fun!
A full kitchen makes cooking for a large group relaxing and easy. Modern appliances, natural wood cabinets, and terracotta tiles add a homey feel. There is also a deck with a charcoal grill on the top level next to the kitchen, so it is easy to prepare meals both indoors and outdoors.
The home offers four bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, one with a full bed, and one with twin-over-full bunk bed. It comfortably accommodates up to eight guests.
Grab the boogie boards that are available for guest use and hit the waves. Spend a lazy morning sipping a hot beverage out on the back deck - you may even see a deer or two. Hiking and biking trails, fishing holes for crabbing and clamming, and a pretty nature trail are all close by!

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

The house is big and spacious. Beautiful views from both decks.
We had a great stay at this rental in Pacific City. It’s very roomy and affordable, and only one block to the beach. Kids loved the ping pong table and adults enjoyed the wood stove during a chilly, rainy evening.
Very spacious and nice home
Great location, great price. Rooms were huge and the ping pong table was a huge hit with my granddaughters. Minor maintenance issues but nothing to damper our stay.
Overall very nice.
A few small maintenance issues, but other than that it was very pleasant. The house is older and the furnishings were older but all comfortable and serves the purpose!
great time, great house except (a note for the owner):
I would like you to pass word on to the owner that the stove in that unit needs some serious work. When we arrived only one of the four burners worked (the left front). We worked on the right front burner and got it to work one time, but then it refused to work after that. The two back burners came on occasionally, about half of the times we tried to use them. The oven was fine. Also the house desperately needs some hot pads. We only found one, and it was so worn that the stuffing was coming out one side and got into our food before I noticed that I could only use one side of it. (I was able to clean that up with minimal loss.) Also the knives were very much in need of sharpening.
Other than that the home seemed to be in good condition, reasonably clean, etc. and we were happy with it. Seeing the eclipse from our own deck was so special the difficulties with the stove were virtually unnoticed.
The owner left a number of notes explaining how various items worked, which was very helpful. I would suggest to her that she leave another one saying that the trash is picked up (very early) on Wednesday mornings and that anyone not checking out on Tuesday should take all trash out Tuesday night for that pick up. Since we had been instructed to take trash out on check out I nearly missed them. Luckily the sound of them picking up the neighbor's bin woke me in time to catch them and take most of the trash out then rather than leave it in the outside bin for a week. When we arrived the bin was very full, so apparently that happened to the previous renters. We were surprised that there seemed to be no consideration for recycling. Perhaps a note identifying where to take various items if a separate container can't be provided?
Great location for the eclipse.
We stayed on the back deck to watch the 2017 solar eclipse. We had a great view and didn't have to fight crowds anywhere. After the show we could walk to the beach and enjoy the outdoors, again with no fighting crowds.
