This house is AMAZING! The property is very private and the grounds are just stunning. Jerry was great to work with and answered all our questions. This house has everything you need and much more. The beds were very comfortable! The house manager was Dharna and she was so sweet and friendly. I highly recommend having her cook at least one meal, her cooking is outstanding! The Grounds manager was Ashneel and he was really nice and helped us with arranging taxis. The only thing I would do differently is rent a car and bring a pool raft. Restaurant recommendations: Wonderful seafood at The He-Ni-Uwa which was ½ mile walk. Gazebo Café Restaurant & Moksha Spa where directly across from the house and we loved the food and had a very nice couples massage at the spa. Naviti Resort is 2 mile walk on the beach (very rocky), we had a nice lunch and then went back for an excellent dinner at Bamboo Terrace restaurant. Also across from the house was Craig’s dinner where we had a nice lunch. Additional recommendations: Bring your own coffee and buy Alcohol at the duty free. We stopped in Sigatoka to do our grocery shopping on our way to the house. There is a small grocery across from the house and they do have wine & beer and all your basic needs.
Perfect place in the best spot on the Coral Coast!
My wife and I decided to get back to Fiji to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and were fortunate to find Jerry's house available. The pictures depict exactly what you get, only it's far better than the images can convey! This is a lovely spot - perhaps one of the very best on Viti Levu.
The coral reefs are beautiful and provide a protected marine environment for all your snorkeling and water adventures that you can dream up. The setting is simply beautiful, quiet, and private. Jerry even provides snorkeling gear, stand up paddle boards, and kayaks!
The house staff that stops by to take care of things as needed are wonderful people. Dharna and Ashneel are welcoming, kind, and beautiful people to get to know. Their service level compliment the amazing home and beautiful location.
We felt completely at home and very much enjoyed our stay and can't wait to return (with our kids) next time.
Far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Nadi or Suva, yet close enough to drive to either city; although the small town of Sigatoka has everything you may need or want and is only minutes down the road. ...and Sigatoka has one of the only all vegetarian restaurants (Gokuls) on the island! The locals are very friendly and there are many local shops to find hand crafted Fijian items to bring back home with you.
Jerry is a very easy going delightful person to deal with and responds immediately to messages and calls. Again, the service level is exceptional to match up with the property and all the amenities.
The pool and hot tub are beautiful and frame in the amazing view of the south pacific - couldn't ask for more there!
The guest suites and bathrooms are wonderful. The furniture is locally made, beautiful, and well crafted.
This house has everything you would need and then some! Just stock it with your favorite food and you have EVERYTHING you need for a perfect vacation.
Bring your own coffee beans for the ultimate cup of morning coffee and enjoy the amazing views and perfect setting.
I feel I could keep going on and on!! You owe it to yourself to treat you and your family to this beautiful villa - you will not be disappointed I can assure you!
Vinaka, Jerry, Dharna, and Ashneel!!
It is very gratifying to hear that you enjoyed the Villa and its location on the Coral Coast!
You will be welcomed back anytime and thank-you for selecting Villa La Jolla for your holiday!
My family travelled from Australia and the States. We had a fabulous week at the Villa.
The Villa is spacious, great for family gatherings and well maintained.
Dharna cooked wonderful Indian meals for our family.
Thank you for a great vacation
LOVED our time at Villa La Jolla
Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our time at Villa La Jolla. The house is gorgeous and so comfortable. Dharna and her sister were so sweet and helpful. I highly recommend you take them up on one of their delicious dinners! There is a grocery store just a minute away and there are a few restaurants nearby. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the villa each morning, and then eating out for lunches and most dinners. Also great having a washer/dryer on the premises. I would definitely recommend this location to others.
Unbelievably beautiful house, pool, beach location
Easily one of the most beautiful architecturally designed homes I have seen. And I could not imagine having a better layout and design to the house and amazing pool. It is a long ride from the airport, but once there, it's the perfect place to relax, snorkel and enjoy! Also, the restaurant/spa diagonally across the street was great!
Our group of seven (family and friends) recently spent a wonderful 10 nights at Villa La Jolla. The property is as described. Dharna and Ashneel were available on occasion. Dharna cooked us a wonderful meal one evening (so much food it lasted two meals really) yum! The kayaks and snorkel gear were used and many walks along the beach were taken. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the time spent on the Coral Coast. Some of the places we visited were the Kula Wild Adventure Park (where the water slide and zip lining were a hit). Ecotrax (pleasant morning tour with the hilarious Britney) and River Tubing Fiji (highly recommend this day trip - William and boys looked after everyone so well).
Recommended restaurants: He ni uwa -
Not cheap but the freshest seafood and the kokoda was amazing. Korean Grill Sigatoka - delicious change from surrounding options. Indiana seafood and curry restaurant (near Shangrila Fijian Resort) - we had lunch here after the Ecotrax tour - the food was some of the best we had. Bamboo Terrace Chinese at the nearby Naviti Resort - we ordered a variety of meals to share between the 7 of us and everyone came away very satisfied (the lobster with ginger & spring onions and the spicy eggplant dishes are a couple stand outs).
Tips: Baravi Handicrafts had the cheapest Fiji Bitter (if purchasing 24 stubbies) at FJ$72. Tappoo City in Sigatoka has a small wine shop which had some interesting bargains on a couple of decent Australian wines at FJ$13.95 for a de bortoli semillon/chardonnay blend and FJ$17.95 for a Brands Laira 2012 chardonnay.
Thanks for sharing your villa Jerry.

Local activities include snorkeling, excellent diving, horseback riding, waterfall and rainforest tours, golf , fishing. A 45-minute drive to the east you will find Pacific Harbor, known as the adventure capital of Fiji. Shark dive, ATV off-road tours and river rafting just to name a few of the adventure activities you'll find.
