Our stay at this house was really nice. It had an awesome deck to relax and have family meals on. Grilling every night was great! The view over looking the lake was beautiful as well as the evening sunsets. It was great to be right on the water. A nice sandy beach for the kids to play with their toys, build sand castles and much more. Fishing was a highlight, caught some enormous fish daily. We used the fire pit almost every night. The inside was fully furnished with a great family room downstairs. Truly had everything you possibly needed. We thank James Harris the owner and especially April the property manager. April was quick to respond to us when in need. She made us feel welcome. It was such a delight to have someone so responsible, friendly and caring to your needs. This was our first time coming to this house. Our family and pets had a wonderful week here and will definitely come back.

Charming Cottage

  • 4 of 5

This lake house was very nice. Had plenty of sleeping room for 8 of us. The lake was very nice and warmed up pretty quickly. It was quiet and relaxing. The canoe provided was great and fishing from the dock was lots of fun.

Couple of things that could use improvement, the grill was terrible. We had to cook inside for the entire week which during a summer vacation is not ideal. Also the beach was very shady so the only way to get sun was to float in the lake. And it was also very uneven, some steps would prevent any future injuries on the property.

We plan to go back next year (provided there's a new working grill by then)

Great location, beach and lots of fish to catch.

  • 3 of 5

There was plenty of room here for all of us and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately it wasn't as clean as we had hoped. A few of the beds did not have blankets, no dish towels, AC filters needed cleaning, food under the furniture, grill didn't work well even though it looked new, no video games as listed. I'm glad I lived near by so I could get things we needed from my home. And communication between the owner and person taking care of the place needs to be better. Overall the kids had a great time swimming, fishing and canoeing. The view was beautiful from the deck so it was great for a morning coffee there.

Perfect Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

We have been renting lake front properties for the past 5-6 summers. This was one of our best experiences. The house is right on the water. Nice big private yard (trees/bushes between properties) with fire pit, long deck, canoe, plenty of outdoor chairs, large wooden swing. The inside of the house is huge compared to other lake front properties we have been to in the past. In addition to the lake, there are 2 lake side in ground pools. We pulled out some 4 huge bass (used smallish sunfish as bait). The place has about a dozen rods, a couple of tackle boxes etc, so no need to bring fishing gear. We dealt with Toby Harris, the owner of the property directly. Great guy, we ran out of oil and he and his maintenance guy were there in about 10 minutes. The issue was resolved within an hour. I also let him know that one of the kids put a decent sized scratch in his coffee table and that the dogs knocked over (and broke) one of his lamps. I expected for him to take money off the security deposit, but he said it was no big deal and didn't charge us anything. This place is an absolute steal

Stay Here... Your family will thank you.

  • 5 of 5

Took the family here and had a blast. We spent a lot of time floating in the lake, this house sits in the channel (a no wake zone) and either direction opens up to bigger parts of lake. We went kayaking daily, caught some enormous fish and had a bonfire each night. Less than an hour to the ocean (we went deep sea fishing) Mini golf, zip lines, go carts, etc are all nearby. Had a nice grill to use and we bbq every night.

Relaxing and wonderful

  • 5 of 5

The house has lovely views of the lake and a fabulous deck to relax on. Inside the house is comfortably furnished, which is not always the case in rentals. Good beds, everything you could need in the kitchen, washer and dryer for all those swimsuits and towels! We had a great week here and will definitely come back.
