Linda and Bob were very welcoming, they showed us they're koi and lily ponds and introduced us to the chickens and their beautiful rescue dogs. The cabin was very well stocked and clean upon arrival. The property was gorgeous and very tranquil and relaxing, you really felt you had gotten away from it all. We can't wait to go back and are already plannng our next visit.
My husband and I had a beautiful weekend stay. Even with it being wet and rainy, the huge windows in the cabin gave us a place to relax and watch the weather. The wood burning stove kept us warm and cozy. We also enjoyed the hiking paths right on the property. We had everything we needed for a break from the city in this cabin.
Bob and Linda are wonderful host. A great couple. Property very excluded and private. Cabin is equip with your basic needs. Nothing fancy...but enough and perfect quiet setting.
My boyfriend and I, as well as our dog Luci, had a great weekend getaway at the Cabin. Linda and Robert, the owners, were great hosts and made us feel welcome and at home. They even invited us to check out their Coy pond and chickens, which was very thoughtful of them and fun for us! It was peaceful, quiet and relaxing! The stream right out in front of the cabin was great. With it being only about 10 minutes from town, it is also very convenient if you need to head to town for anything. That most likely won't be the case though, because the cabin is very well stocked and equipped with everything you need. Linens, towels, washcloths, dishes, cooking supplies, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. The only time we really left the property was to head to different areas to do a little fishing, otherwise, we stayed at the cabin and enjoyed all the tranquility the property has to offer. The trails, the trees, the stream, the campfire at night, the night sky, nature and the peace and quiet! Will definitely go back. Can't wait!
Easily one of the most serenely enjoyable experiences of our lives occured this past weekend at this cabin. The cabin was exceptionally clean and organized. It has everything any one could possibly need to have an enjoyable time. Robert was accomadating, kind, and just an overall great host. Honestly if I had more time off work I would stay for a week.
The creek is clean and beautiful and the moon was shining in the bay windows at nighttime. It is completely isolated away from almost all noise and the sound of nature is all you hear. Once again, everything was perfect I could not even make up a complaint if I tried. We will be returning as soon as my work schedule allows. Thank you!
Really enjoyed the view out the windows of this cabin. The large picture windows looked over a little creek. It is set way back in the woods. Definitely comfortable for 2 people. Had no stove so I was worried but the owners had all the amenities I needed to make meals. I now think I need an electric fry pan. The area was very peaceful and quite. Nice place to relax. Cabin was clean and appeared to be recently remodeled. Owners were very friendly and showed us around the property and cabin before leaving us to relax. I requested local lake information and they had all that information on the kitchen table when we arrived. Town of Friendship was a nice little town. Friendship Lake was too low to launch but cabin innot far from dozens of other lakes within 30 minutes with lots of Walleyes. Only issue was no TP. I was very thankful I brought a roll. TP is not expensive and having a roll to start would really be beneficial. We will probably book this again
