Why Steven Young chose Mystic
We bought this home as our dream home in downtown Mystic. The water views are so relaxing with the sailboats of the Seaport all day long. Hear the drawbridge horn yet you are far enough away from the Main Street traffic. You can walk to nearly EVERYTHING from this location. We love to sit on the front steps with our coffees and watch the runners & cyclists go by.

Beautiful Mystic Home
This is a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. The kitchen/dining room is surrounded with windows that let in the sun and view of Mystic river. The large fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. The bedrooms are upstairs, so you have to navigate some steep stairs. The bath/shower shared by two of the bedrooms has a pretty high rim to get over. The other bath/shower is a normal tub size with sliding glass door. The rooms are a generous size. There are bookcases with plenty of reading material. The kitchen is pretty well stocked and easy to feed a crowd with a large bar between cooking area and dinging area. All appliances seemed like new or in great condition. My group consisted of an older group of 70-yr olds, so the steps and the first-floor sofa bed were not optimal for us. We had a little problem figuring out the key code box upon arrival, but the owner was immediately available by phone to give us directions. We had no other problems with 8 people in the house. The driveway holds three cars and there is street parking. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend the house for other Mystic travelers.
Family-friendly stay in great location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As one of our first house rental experiences, we weren't sure what to expect. Steve was helpful and responsive to our questions. The house has a great set-up for multiple adults and children, and even has some kids books that were total hits. The flat and grassy backyard with views of the Mystic River is beautiful and perfect for running around or relaxing. The quick walk to town made for easy shopping and eating adventures. We loved exploring the historic neighborhood and appreciated the history of the house as well. Definitely recommend!
Home and location were terrific. Our family, including our dog Scout, had a wonderful vacation. Many thanks for sharing your home Steven.
The Lesko Family
Great week in Mystic
Great charming home, view of river was spectacular, enjoyed breakfast out there each morning. Home has everything you need to enjoy your time. It’s an old home, steep staircase was a bit of a challenge for our elderly parents, but workable. Steve provided everything from home instructions to local recommendations. We had great time!
Heaven on a river
Lovely, beautifully renovated comfortable home with views of mystic river and walk to town! You just can't beat it. 1850s but updated bathrooms and really fine with-it taste in decor. Everything worked and we had a wonderful time. I was there with family and teens kids. Would be fun if there were some yard games available given the awesome back lawn but we were off to beach, water and town a lot so not really a problem. Thank you Steven and family for sharing this gem with us!
Ideal Location in the Heart of Mystic
Our family had a great stay! The house has a good size yard with patio area, and we had some great weather while we were there! It's an old house, as are most of the properties around there, but it had modern conveniences. Steve was a great host and the check-in process was a breeze. What we loved most about the house was the location! Lovely view of the water from the back yard and short walk to the shops and restaurants on E. Main St. We will likely definitely stay again!
