Enjoy your morning coffee sitting on the back deck overlooking double waterfalls on the creek.
We had the most amazing weekend here! The pictures of the cottage do not do it justice. Everything is perfect from inside to outside. This is our new number one place to stay when we come to Chimney Rock! Thank youso much for sharing your home. We will definitely be back many more times. Until next time!
The Creekside Cottage was perfect. It had everything we needed and was located conveniently to Asheville, Lake Lure, and other cities. The creek with the eye waterfalls behind the property made it so clam and relaxing. We spent a lot of time on the porch just listening to the running water. Thank you for allowing us to stay.
Nice cabin for the price. Furnishings are nothing fancy, but everything was in working order. Lots of dishes, utensils, etc. for kitchen. Heaters provided in each room for winter, which was nice on the cold mornings. Fireplace in living room provides lots of heat. Plenty of room for our family of 5. Great location. Beautiful creek right behind cabin with lots of space and close to shops, restaurants, etc. Think the owner could invest in a new shower head. Would stay here again.
We loved our stay at the Creekside Cottage in Chimney Rock. The place is just wonderful and the view out the back is a little slice of heaven. We will definitely be returning sometime in the future.
This was one of the most comfortable unique and peaceful cottages we have ever rented! It far exceeded our expectations, close in to everything but far enough out to be beautiful and peaceful and quite, we loved getting up of a morning and having our coffee out back and listening to the water flow down the creek. Jerry was a delight, we will definitely return for another visit!!!
This was the cutest, warmest, most peaceful cottage. Close to everything and fully equipped.
We will be visiting again.
This was our second trip to creekside cottage and it was just as peaceful and relaxing as the first. We brought friends this time who enjoyed the location and accommodations as much as we did. We will definitely return.

Though still somewhat of a hidden gem, Rumbling Bald Climbing Access is considered to be world-class bouldering and technical rock climbing with some of the best terrain in the Southeast. It contains an estimated 1,500 bouldering problems that are easily accessible in this non-fee section of Chimney Rock State Park. The most popular climbing seasons are fall and winter.
A new half-mile hiking trail from the parking area to the climbing area was completed in December 2012 with the help of a group of local volunteers, including the Carolina Climbers Collation, Friends of Chimney Rock State Park and Carolina Mountain Club. Visitors may park in the designated parking area located off Boys Camp Road. Cars should not be parked along the entrance drive, on the grass or along the wooden bollards. Additional parking is available at the Town of Lake Lure's municipal parking lot on Hwy 64/74A, from which you can carpool. For directions and the latest information, visit www.ncparks.gov
