Their are lots of trails in the park that are easy to access from a short drive. Elkmont has a great trail beside the river and is approximately 10 miles from the cabin. Metcalf Bottoms has a beautiful picnic area along the river and is convenient as well. Cades Cove is approximately 20 miles but a beautiful drive along the way! There is a book in the cabin with all of the trails and hiking locations.

  • 5 of 5

My family and I stayed the week in your cabin and fell in love with it all over again. This is our 5th time renting this cabin, and it never disappoints. It is the best place to stay in Wears Valley!! Tammy is great to work with!!

Thank you for letting us make lifelong memories.

Had a wonderful stay, everything was clean and accessible. Very quiet area for restful nights. I would stay here again if I get the chance to vacation again in Tennessee.

Perfect getaway

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed at this cabin for 7 days and loved every minute. It was clean and spacious and my three teenage girls had more than enough room to hang out, spread out and enjoy their vacation. The master bedroom has a lovely bathroom and although we did not really get a chance to enjoy the hot tub during our stay (we were too busy hiking, driving, eating, playing!) it is a wonderful addition. The neighborhood was quiet and the views were spectacular. There was even coffee, powdered creamer and sugar, coffee filters, spices, and all the utensils you'd need.

Although we don't have small children it was really nice to see that the owners have thought of everything because there is even a highchair in the laundry room, clean sippy cups and baby spoons.

It is a little farther out than some other cabin resorts/ areas but we loved that. It was so quiet and tranquil and we were away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traffic. We were only about 30 minutes away from Dollywood and the main Pigeon Forge area. You can be in downtown Gatlinburg in about 40 - 50 minutes, and we were at the National Park and hiking many trails within that same time distance. Horse back riding was close, as well a a local grocery store and some local eateries.

We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone planning a visit to the Smokey Mountains. Such a wonderful place to stay. Thank you for making your lovely cabin available, my family had such an amazing time!

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and the cabin! We really strive to have a very clean place but yet comfortable at the same time. We also tried to think of every detail because H family is different in ages. The downstairs is such a great place for kids, teenagers or sometimes the grandparent to escape and provide their own space. We feel like it is peaceful because as you said not right in the middle of all the traffic. But, yet so close to all of the main attractions. Thanks so much and I hope you will return!
