Their are lots of trails in the park that are easy to access from a short drive. Elkmont has a great trail beside the river and is approximately 10 miles from the cabin. Metcalf Bottoms has a beautiful picnic area along the river and is convenient as well. Cades Cove is approximately 20 miles but a beautiful drive along the way! There is a book in the cabin with all of the trails and hiking locations.

Cozy cabin close to everything

  • 5 of 5

First of all, Tammy was great! I had no problems whatsoever! The cabin literally has everything you could possibly need and then some.

I brought my family with my two severe and profoundly wheelchair bound children. Minus the few steps, it was perfect! They were not able to go into the basement, but after they went to bed, the adults went down there and watched TV, played pool, played Ms. Pac-man....we cooked all of our meals in the cabin in a very well equipped kitchen. The hot tub was relaxing after long days we've had lately and the living room was very comfortable, as we watched several movies in there with the family. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was more than enough in room, especially the Master Bath and my kids loved the jetted tub.

The views are majestic and the front porch is where we spent almost every night just relaxing and talking and playing board games or cards.

Tammy was very easy to get a hold of and made sure to check on us before we arrived.

All in all, amazing time and next time, we will need to stay a whole week. Highly recommend!!

Will be booking here again...

  • 4 of 5

Very spacious, exceptionally clean property, with all of the needed amenities for a week's stay in the Smoky Mountains. Had plenty of space for us and our 4 kids. The only complaint and reason I provided a 4 v. 5 star review is the mattress quality was poor in one of the spare bedrooms, and in the pull out couch and the trundle bed in the basement. They are really bad, and I'd recommend bringing some blow up mattresses or some other solution to mitigate if the owners don't have plans in the near future to replace.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your feedback on the cleanliness and comfort of our cabin. We really try our best to make the cabin a comfortable place. I’m sorry that the mattresses downstairs were not comfortable. After checking they were somewhat worn, so we have had all of them replaced. I don’t know which bed you are referring to upstairs as they are all high end mattresses and one of them less than a year old. We appreciate your suggestions and glad enjoyed your stay!

Best cabin we have ever rented!

  • 5 of 5

This place is great! We chose this Wears Valley cabin as our first non-hillside rental. What we came to realize was that this location is a great jumping off point to everywhere we wanted to go. Most cabins are convenient to somewhere, but this one was great no matter where we went. Cabin itself is excellent, clean and nicely appointed. It is supplied with just about everything you need. We WILL try to rent this one again. If you do stay here, we highly recommend eating at Elvira's Cafe on Wears Valley Road. We went for dinner our last night and regretted not going sooner.
