We are private owners and have several condos at the Casa Del Mar.

All the condos at the Casa Del Mar are privately owned. We prefer to take care of our own condos rather than let another company do it for us.

We live nearby on the island if you need us for anything.

Why Taz or Jay chose Galveston Island

Our Palm Suite condo is one of several condos we have at the Casa Del Mar complex. The Casa Del Mar has 276 privately owned units. Casa Del Mar is located at the corner of 61st and Seawall Blvd right across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. Each condo has a great view of the Gulf of Mexico. This beach area is the sandy part of the beach and you can swim in the Gulf water.

Absolutely wonderful.

The condo was exactly as described in the write up. It contains nice accommodations for sleeping along with a nice kitchen for use during your stay. The property was very well maintained and clean for our arrival. The WII and games were nice to have for entertainment while preparing meals, waiting for all to get ready to leave for the days adventures or simply to enjoy and unwind. The location is perfectly situated right across the road from the beach/ocean and within walking distance of many stores and shops including reasonably priced groceries and other necessities. The parking pass at the condo saved a lot of headache and money in trying to find somewhere to park to 'go to the beach'. The beach was so closely located that you could find a place on the beach and members of our group could return to the condo to start meals, get food, or other items. In addition, there is quick access to the road to get to other locations along either Seawall boulevard, or going on out to the Ferry to go to Bolivar Peninsula for excursion of other beaches and areas (and we got to see dolphins on the ferry ride); or back to the main land for other activities. Had a few minor questions upon arrival and Taz and Jay were very kind in answering them and also provided links to me in advance for finding activities upon arrival. We are very pleased with our choice of condos to stay and will plan to use this location again and their service when we go elsewhere.

Small one bedroom condo in need of freshening up

This condo is conveniently located in the Casa Del Mar property, however, we did have an issue upon arrival regarding access into the condo, the keys on the keypad kept sticking and we were given an incorrect access code via email. We did call the owners and got the access code problem resolved immediately.

There were a few minor issues noted within the condo, and the owners were notified privately of the issues. Once the "little things" are fixed by the owners, this condo will continue to be a nice condo to rent. It is clean, conveniently located to eateries and Wal-Mart, as well as a walk across the street to the beach. I wouldn't mind renting it again as long as it is only my spouse and I, more than two adults in this condo gets a little cramped for space if you have to remain indoors all day due to the weather.

the condo was great. it was right across the street from the beach so we could just walk there instead of finding parking. Walmart and restaurants were only 2 blocks over. thank you for letting us stay!

Cute little condo, great beach access, easy walk to several places

We had no trouble checking in, parking, or getting into the condo. All basic amenities were provided as specified in the listing. The view was great and it was an easy walk across the road to the beach, ice cream shop, grocery store, etc. We really had a great time and will definitely look into CasaBling properties in the future. Only negative thing to say is that the condo might need a deep cleaning and a few updates (spots on the walls and a little worn out) and there is a board sticking out from under the bed that we kept smacking our shins & toes on the first day. Not sure what that was about - we tried pushing it back under the bed but apparently it's part of the bed? Not a deal breaker though - we learned to watch out and enjoyed our stay anyway.
