When you arrive enter our chalet and take in the stellar 350 degree mountain views. Then, head out and explore our town just a ten minute walk to downtown Canmore's shopping and dining district. Or, enjoy scenic world class golf courses, and a 10 minute drive into Banff National Park – home to glaciers, hot springs, and epic hikes. And, in 2017, entrance into Banff Park will be FREE all year! C'mon up (or over) and help Canada celebrate 150 years of Confederation eh!

In winter, we are close to four world class ski resorts and our Canmore Nordic Centre for epic cross country skiing, fat tire biking and inner tube tobogganing.

Our "Out'n About" guests will find all the comforts of home in our fully equipped two bedroom chalet. We have free WiFi, a large private patio with gas BBQ, two HD televisions with Cable TV, in-suite laundry machines, cozy new comforters, linens and furnishings. Our gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and ready to host all your special family meal gatherings.

Warm up by our large gas fireplace while enjoying our amazing mountain views. We've added our own personal touches to help you to feel luxurious but comfortable -- a "kick your shoes off and relax" kinda place. We are a very active family from Calgary who are avid skiers -- our kids are in various ski racing programs in Banff and we wanted to have a place to hang our hats on these very busy weekends so we decided to purchase this wonderful condominium. We love it and know you will too!

Fire Mountain Lodge was built in 2006. It is conveniently located just a few minutes drive or walk away from shops, restaurants, grocery and liquor stores in the area. Our chalet boasts some of the BEST mountain views of all the properties we looked at in Canmore. It is in a quiet location as well. Clean 'n pristine, you won't be disappointed, rest assured.

What makes this townhome unique

We love the size of the condo (1100 sq. ft.), the upscale decor, in-suite laundry which was a must for an active outdoor family, plus the layout of the chalet is great for relaxing and entertaining. The patio is private and has it's own BBQ and did I say....AMAZING views!

Plenty of space at a good price!

My family and I spent a few nights here as a cheaper alternative to paying higher prices in Banff. We really enjoyed the area and always felt safe. The property has a great view into the mountains and the area is quiet. There were plenty of towels and silverware/plates at the property. Thanks again and we may book again in the future!

great location.

Great location for making day trips to Banff and Kananaskis. Amenities were good. Could use a little maintenance. Tub didn't drain good and the dishwasher was loud. Overall though it was a good place to stay.

Comfortable and cozy

Most everything was great. Condo was clean and nicely furnished. As pictured. Very comfy and a good location with a great view. Just a few minor issues that were no big deal. Parking in carport was impossible for full size pickup (despite having specifically asked owner). On street parking was available, although not abundant. Toilet in master bath is not seated to floor properly.Bathrooms are tiny, so if u need countertop space you will not be terribly thrilled. Showerhead functioned like a model out of a cheap hotel. It seemed weirdly out of place here. Master mattress seemed a bit hard, but maybe just my personal taste. Lampshades in master are coming apart, need to be replaced Overall, this was a great location, just a few minor things that might be of some import to certain travelers, or that owners might want to consider addressing for future travelers.

A lovely condo with a stunning mountain view in the super town of Canmore

Thank you to Donna Scott for providing and maintaining this homey condo. It was exactly what my husband and I had expected and even more than we anticipated. The decor and furnishings were very tasteful. Everything was super clean with ample room and all the conveniences needed for enjoying our vacation in mid-September. Even the weather cooperated fabulously. The patio with a nice gas grill was a "must" for cooking our dinners and soaking in the view of the Three Sisters' mountain peaks. We would highly recommend the condo to all as the location is so convenient to the national parks and lakes. We have never seen such magnificent mountains and blue lakes in our travels. Canmore, in itself, is a jewel with pleasant, friendly people from the Safeway to restaurants and conveniences all around. The people who live here are very active with a "joie de vie". Amazing Stay in Canmore

Had an excellent stay at Out'n About Chalet from August 30th - Sept 4th. Donna was very helpful with providing all of the details during booking and prior to our arrival.

Chalet is located close to downtown and just one block away from the Grizzly Paw Brewing Company Brewery - A very cool spot to check out.

Everything we needed was included in the chalet. We especially enjoyed the French Press coffee maker to make morning coffee to enjoy on the patio (amazing mountain view) before we headed out for morning hikes. New BBQ on the patio was also great. Condo has Netflix but we spent most of our time outside in Canmore or Banff. With just two of us staying for the week, we had lots of room with the two bedrooms and 3 bathrooms

Having the Park Pass included in with the stay was great - It eliminated the need to stop into the kiosks in the morning on the way to Morraine Lake, Lake Louise, Peyto Lake, etc to purchase a pass. Donna's book was also helpful to plan our daily excursions

Would highly recommend staying here if you will be in the Canmore area!

Just like home... Very thoughful...

I've been to the Banff/Canmore area dozens upon dozens of times. This time around I was taking a group and we wanted to stay together.

I was instantly impressed the moment I opened the door. It was very clean and very cozy. All the little things are there for you from an extra lightbulb, board games, books to honey for your tea. And everything else you would need in between. The 2nd floor patio has a great view of the Three Sisters and is large enough for 8 people. Having things like 3 bathrooms or a BBQ makes it all the better.

We were very comfortable and happy. Also Donna's book shows many neat things to do in the area as well. Some that you wouldn't see else where.

I am very happy with the stay and everyone I brought with me was very happy with my find.

Also having a Park Pass waiting for you was great. The beds where very comfortable with ample bedding.

Long story short... they took the time to foresee peoples needs before they were to have them all while making it feel like home for you. It's very comfortable and functional for any travelers needs.
