This is a family home in a great location with wonderful neighbors.
The Owner purchased this cabin in 2006
We enjoy skiing and the outdoors. The location was exceptional with fantastic views.
The Cabin/Chalet is in close proximity to thee upper entrance to Summit East, which is ideal. The cabin is sited on a lovely lot with fantastic views and just enough privacy.
Thanks for this great place for our weekend away. We really had a great time and were able to enjoy lots of hiking, and then relax at the cabin.
It's very close to pass, house is cozy and has lot of movie collection. We had great time relaxing as family.
I stayed here for a weekend with some friends. Our only goal was to relax and this home was so great in helping us do just that! We hung out on the porch, talking and enjoying the views. Went for scenic walks. Cooked some great dinners because the kitchen was legit stocked with all the pots, pans, utensils we needed for any basic meal. Relaxed at night with some movies on the comfy couches in the living room. The beds were comfortable, too!
If you have not been out to this area before, it's not super duper remote. There are some other homes around and a convenience store within driving distance. So you have easy access to "civilization" but still able to feel a bit isolated... being treated to all the wonderful mountain views, tree tops, fresh air, stars in the sky, and quiet.
Also, the owners were so nice and communicative!
I loved it here and am definitely coming back. :)
Thank you for a wonderful stay at your cabin. Our family including our 4 legged kids loved the house. The home was truly a home not a sterile home from IKEA but truly a family dwelling. The décor made our family feel so happy and warm. We will admit we were not at the house a lot due to visiting friends in the PNW but when we did actually stay in the area and had two friends with kids over our walk not drive but walk to the slopes was fantastic. The dogs lost 2 years of their lives by running around all over the mountain side just as much as when we went to the beaches with friends if not more. I thought we had beach dogs but now....they are definitely mountain side canine. Our crew of kids from ages 2 to 10 loved hiking the mountains and being FREE on the mountainside. The house is fully equipped with all the cooking essentials a mom of 3 kids would need. It was so nice to see minimal traffic. One day they were placing more asphalt and stone on the roads the day we happened to be home all day but that has to be done and it was quick and did not phase our crew at all. The kids wanted to play games and stay at the cabin, so maybe a problem if you have plans with other people but a good issue to have. Next time we would need to make it so we stay at the cabin the entire time. We can't thank you for sharing your house with our family and allowing our entire family to stay. This is not a place for people who don't take care of their pets. If your pet is truly a family member and you love them like a kiddo, then highly recommend. The cabin is too nice of a place for someone who lets their do whatever they want.
Thank you so much! Loved the stay.
Hi, my friend and I came during the spring to hike several trails nearby and were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness of this lovely cabin. The upstairs 3/4 bathroom connected directly to the upper loft bedroom was comfortable, clean and very handy!!! Downstairs is another bedroom with a full bathroom close by, just out the door and adjacent to clothes washer/drier. Nice kitchen and well stocked including coffee!! If you are coming with kids or teenagers, the basement room provides a 'private' space for them to hang out in, although no TV there. Overall, I would definitely rent this lovely cabin again for my next set of hikes near Snoqualmie Pass. Easy to get to and from, comfortable, clean, well stocked, nice lay-out. Thank you to the wonderful owners! Renee
Great cabin for families - there's a good amount of separation between the sleeping areas, and a relatively soundproof basement with a few toys and games. The kids had a great time playing with the playmobil. Location is great, though do your snow dance before you come. We were hit with a lot of rain which curtailed our skiing more than we would have liked. Good thing the cabin was fun!
