Why Bob Kemp chose South Lake Tahoe

This property was purchased by my Parents in 1968 as a Vacation/Retirement home. They loved this place, as it was their little getaway from the pressures and stresses of everyday life, living and working in the Greater Bay Area. San Jose in particular. When my Parents passed away a few years back, the Cabin became ours. I vowed to keep this cabin in the family for future generations to enjoy as a rememberance of Bob and Shirley Kemp, my Mom and Dad.

Nice cabin in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. My family and I had a great stay.

Very pleased

  • 5 of 5

The cabin worked perfectly for our family of four and large dog. The two queen beds were clean and pretty comfy. Both bedrooms had dressers and plenty of room. The bathroom is small, particularly the shower, but it was clean and came stocked with 5 or 6 clean towels and hand soap. We had to wash the towels a couple times after trips to the beach so the washer/dryer came in handy. Their was plenty of laundry soap and softener available. The kitchen had plenty of pots/pans, dishes, utensils and came stocked with dish soap, towels, paper towels, coffee maker, coffee, salt, pepper, and a few spices. The fridge/freezer was very clean and worked great. The kitchen table is very small but we managed to fit four chairs around it. Plus their is a large coffee table. The living room furniture was very clean but the carpet could use a good shampooing. We all enjoyed playing games on the Wii and doing the puzzle together. The cabin included some family DVDs and DVD player.

Perfect!

  • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for our weekend in Tahoe. Bob was so helpful and was always so quick to respond. Such a great location with a beautiful meadow across the street and less than a mile walk down the street to a great dog beach. We had a great time. The house had everything we needed and was very cozy and cute. I would definitely go back again!

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

What an awesome little place to stay. Bob was great about letting us know the information we needed before we arrived. The house was clean and well stocked for our needs. It is so close to a beautiful meadow and the lake. We really enjoyed strolls around the neighborhood. There was a ton of wildlife including a wild bunny in the yard, a coyote in the meadow, and even a brown bear strolling the neighborhood checking out the garbage cans! (that the neighbor across the street came over and let us know about) The kids were thrilled.

The house itself is a wonderful little cabin, bordering on vintage and just full of charm. Not glamorous, but homey and worth every penny of it's relatively low cost. The yard was great for our dog, and even came with a pooper scooper...even the yard was well stocked!

We hope to stay here again!

Very cozy home in Tahoe

  • 5 of 5

Bob was very prompt to respond to any and all questions we had. The pictures don't exactly give the home justice, it's adorable and well decorated inside. This home was the perfect fit for my husband I. We took long walks each morning and all of the neighbors were very friendly. The location is wonderful as well, very conveniently located near the hot spots in Tahoe. Bob does supply the home to make it comfortable for the guests. Overall, a wonderful stay and we are excited for our next visit to this home.

Cute & Close to everything!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is super cute. Located about 8-10 minutes from Casinos, the outlet mall, emerald bay. The owner is amazing, answered all of our emails. We left a dog gps collar charger in the kitchen, we were able to get it mailed back. The owner lets you ride 3 bikes. We used the mountain bike and the pink bike. You can go on a 5 mile bike ride to Richardson camp ground, theres a beautiful beach you can walk or ride too. There was lots of snow when we were there but the roads were clear. The hikes and walks were kind of blocked and you definitely need snow boots or shoes. Everything you need is there, all you need to bring are steaks, beer/wine and some sacks. The house stayed warm with the stove, the water was perfect for two people to shower. You have to yelp all the places close by, we tried Sprouts, McDuffs Pub, and Schoneys BBQ.. they were three of our most favorites. A lot of breakfast places close at 2, so you gotta wake up early or make your own breakfast :) Theres is a Dennys, and a few grocery stores located about 1 mile away. Small families with kids or a couple with a dog will love this place. We had a blast. Thank you so much Bob!
