Centrally located Studio located in the heart of SOMA (South of Market) district. Located on the 3rd story (top floor) in a 10 unit complex. Central location to restaurants, transportation, Moscone Convention center, and shopping.
Spacious studio was renovated in 2014 and is fully furnished with everything new. Stay for meetings at the Moscone Convention Center, located less than 1 mile. Or stay for fun and explore the sights of San Francisco.
Parking is available on Langton St. and surrounding streets in the neighborhood. Most streets have parking restrictions throughout the day, but at night there are no restrictions. Please keep in mind you are trying to park downtown San Francisco and finding a parking place is not guaranteed. There are parking garages in the area, within 3-4 blocks, that are available for a nominal fee. Rental prices do not include any expenses you incur to park a vehicle.
The apartment was a bit smaller then I thought but once you get your self situated it's pretty cozy. Loved the bottle of wine the renter left for us, even tho I don't drink wine . Queen size bed was really comfortable , on the other hand the pull out sofa was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. But did the job. Had a nice kitchen to make our own meals. Very close to tourist attractions. If renting a car parking may be a bit difficult but you can make it work. Nice and clean bathroom.. I would Deff come back here or recommend to stay here .. Perfect for couple retreat or two friends who wants to be in the local scene
The apartment was very nice and comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed ; close to everything, nice bars in the area. Joy left us a welcome bottle of wine that was lovely!!!
We've lived in San Fransico for 25 years and never really explored SOMA. When we had to leave our flat, we opted for VRBO rentals and picked Joy's place because of the location. We loved it! Yes, the neighborhood was "gritty" but Joy's unit was charming and with all the comforts of home. It is full of light and the window views provided an interesting and very different perspective of our city. We felt very much at home and could sense the place was loved by the owner. The choices of restaurants are amazing: breakfast at Rocco's is a must and Basil Thai was perfect for take-out after work. And there is a great market nearby, Urban Harvest Market, that has groceries and a deli that serves up healthy foods. Plus, access to MUNI was a breeze. Our only issue was the direct TV which never worked for us. But then again, we didn't miss it all that much since we had our tablet to access news and/or movies. We both encourage folks to explore this "happening" part of the city and stay at Joy's welcoming home.
The apartment is clean, modern, and comfortable. Great location: close to restaurants, museums, the Ballpark.
However, I failed to heed other reviews that mentioned the lack of parking, and, unfortunately my car received tickets, as well as a smashed window one night.
Very nice studio in an up and coming neighborhood.
I enjoyed my stay at the SOMA studio. The kitchen was nicely renovated and the bathroom updated. The building itself was a little run down and the apartment itself you use a repainting. More of a cosmetic vs. functional issue.
I would definitely stay there again.
