We like to travel a bit ourselves and like to stay in suites where we are self sufficient but have the option of feeling like we are in a hotel. Like to go grocery shopping, pick up what we like and have the option of going to the fridge to get what we want and not have to go out or order in. Thought that would be a great idea for others coming to stay in this great city. Born and raised here. There is always something to do in edmonton, from the year round festivals to regular sites to go and see and shopping rivalling the most major destinations in north america. Great Location, 1.5 Blocks Off Jasper Ave, The Main Avenue Through Downtown. Just Minutes From Many Shops, Restaurants, Pubs, Night Clubs, Convenience And Grocery Stores That Are Located On And Just Off Of Jasper Ave. The Big Chain Coffee Shops Are There Plus Food Franchises And Independent As Well And The City Centre Mall.

The apt. is well equipped, clean, great views, and excellent location and is over sold.

As stated, apt. is well equipped, clean, has an excellent location, (once you find it), but is over 30 years old. The AC is not central air but is a portable unit in the living room. AC means central air conditioning. The apt. building, being older, will have things happen like both elevators failing at the same time and over 6 hours (my estimate) or longer to fix them. We and our guests walked up 17 floors and the guests walked down 17 flights. We spent the night without elevators (to our knowledge) and due to risk of fire, etc. would not do so again.

Unfortunately the VRBO instructions sent via email giving directions, access codes, apt. #, etc., were not printable using my Office 2016 Pro. Inquiries to VRBO did not receive a response. Droid systems and I phones are fine but the majority of data processing is done using microsoft software and not making this available in compatible format is unacceptable.

Not to mention that we had a water outage at the apt. building of several hours, during our washing cycle, we felt the inconveniences far exceeded the good parts. During the elevator outage no one was in the apt. building offices to talk to and no information was provided. And no compensation for these problems has been forthcoming.

Otherwise, weather was nice for a native Arizonian and as always a beautiful city to visit.

Owner's Response: Thank you Don for your positive comments. AC is Air Conditioning, Central Air Conditioning is not the same, sorry if you misunderstood that. Sorry also for the elevator issue, they are actually newer elevators but during a regular service call the technician accidentally shorted out something on the second elevator and had the first one shut down for the service. They repaired it promptly. We have had no issues with the elevators in the past or since. The water outage was temporary while the City was doing some work, a bit of an inconvenience, sorry about that, out of our control. It is also unfortunate about your experience with VRBO and today's technology, always changing and usually great, when it works. Hope to see you back again, without the glitches.

Great place in downtown Edmonton

Great condo with a huge balcony with afternoon sun. Easy walking distance downtown and to river valley trails for walking our little dog. We'll definitely book it again some time.

Many great choices within a few blocks

Great Downtown Location, Just Minutes To So Much, On The Edge Of The River Valley With Walking And Biking Trails. Right Downtown Less Than Two Blocks Off Jasper Ave but being on the edge of the river valley, there is a bit of a hill for the first block. Great Views From The Over 300 Sqft Very Private And Covered Balcony. So Many Must See And Must Do Activities So Close By.
