About the property

The Only Holland Beach Rental Offering an Infinity Pool Overlooking the Lake!

Perched high on a bluff overlooking an infinity pool, hot tub, and the property’s own private beach, this newly built, clean, modern home offers two of its four levels as some of the finest vacation accommodations anywhere. Avoid the crowds, escape to this peaceful retreat, and let the stresses of everyday life slip off your sun-kissed shoulders.

Saunter down to the white “sugar sands” and dip your toes in water that stretches for as far as the naked eye can see in this "Key West of the Midwest" paradise. Lounge on the grand patio and become entranced by the infinity pool as its waters seemingly spill into the vast blue beyond. After a long day of leisure, soak away what little cares remain in the hot tub at sunset, or watch your favorite show in your room on a high definition television. Drift off to sleep in the afterglow of a perfect day, under the gentle breeze of the ceiling fan and wrapped snugly in luxurious bedding. In the morning, turn the knob on your suite’s wall for some easy listening music to set the mood for the day and greet it gracefully.

This property sleeps up to ten on two levels:

Level 1: Suite 1/Low Tide Suite (295 sq. ft.) - 2 in a king-size bed

Level 2: Suite 2/Neap Tide Suite (300 sq. ft.) - 2 in a king-size bed, 2 in twin bunk beds

Level 2: Suite 3/High Tide Suite (340 sq. ft.) - 2 in a king-size bed, 2 in twin bunk beds

Extended families enjoy this destination for its separate levels because each level has a kitchen. It gives them a sense of independence while still coming together as a family for vacation. Grandparents generally take the Low Tide (Level 1) Suite, as they have the first level mostly to themselves. The first level is also often where everyone comes together to enjoy meals at the dining table overlooking the pool.

On the second level, each of the two suites accommodates any combination of 4 adults and/or children. Typically, parents sleep together on the king-size beds and children sleep on the sturdy bunk beds that are rated to hold up to 300 lbs. per person. On this level, sunset is the perfect time to sit on the deck or on the large sofa in the solarium to take in the magnificence of nature.

All the suites have in-room full bathrooms with one additional full bathroom on the pool (1st) level. The largest suite (High Tide on Level 2) has its own infrared sauna designed to release the toxins from your body, as well as a jetted steam shower with a foot massager to spoil you. Each suite has its own computer with high speed internet access, individual temperature controls, spacious closets, ceiling fan, HD TV, and much more.

Complimentary Keurig coffee is a good way to start the day as you prepare your breakfast in a fully stocked kitchen with range/oven, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator/freezer with filtered water in the door. Eat your meals alfresco on the second level deck, by the pool, or dine indoors at one of two cozy kitchen nooks for four. After breakfast, surf some suggested web pages for local attractions on your suite’s computer, write an e-mail to your loved ones to tell them how relaxed and happy you are, or check the weather forecast: sunny and satisfied.

One aspect families appreciate about this well-designed vacation rental is the upgraded safety feature of the property, as it is protected by a commercial-grade fire/sprinkler system that will notify a monitoring company 24/7 in the event of an emergency. This is the only rental property on Holland’s beach that offers this level of protection for your family.

Each suite is accessible by its own private entrance, separate from each other and the owner’s levels. For your comfort and convenience, each suite is zoned independently for heating and cooling, with its own temperature controls. The suites also have mini refrigerators, irons and ironing boards, safes, beach and bath towels, towel warmers, complementary robes for two, toiletries, fold-out/rollaway cots (available upon request), and more.

If you think Lake Michigan vacationing is only for the summer, think again, as magnificent views can be witnessed comfortably from our hot tub in the spring and fall, as well.

About Jerry

Jerry and Jamie love to travel, explore unfamiliar cultures, and meet new people from around the world. They're dedicated to providing you with the best vacation experience in their newly constructed beach home.

Jerry purchased this house in 2015

Why Jerry chose Western Michigan

This property had the best of everything. The white sand beaches are some of the finest in the world and Lake Michigan appears to be an ocean it's so large (110 miles across at the widest point). The 2009 Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index found that the city of Holland was the second happiest city in the nation. There are golf courses, wineries, gourmet food, and just about any water sport that you could imagine making it one of the best summer vacation spots anywhere.

What makes this house unique

Sitting in the heated pool or hot tub while the bright red rays of the sun light up the clouds and the horizon is an experience that will etched into your memory. It's a reverence for the majesty of nature that transcends your every day cares, leaving an overwhelming feeling of tranquility and peace.

My wife, children and I stayed here last Fall. I can't fully describe how majestic the scenery was for us. The colors were just beginning to change but it was still warm enough to get out and enjoy walks/sports on the beach and hop in the hot tub a few times. We were so relaxed, including our kids who needed a quick break from school. The location of this place was perfect for us. We were right on the beach but also just minutes from a park and fifteen minutes from downtown. We didn't want to leave. The hosts were so gracious and kind. They left us complimentary toiletries, a few food items in the kitchen, and clearly had our needs in mind when they put baths and TVs in every room. This was our most memorable vacation so far. Thanks to Jerry for making sure we were comfortable our whole stay.

I still can't believe how great our stay was here. I saw this house from a boat a few years ago and always wondered what it was like. I was shocked to see it on VRBO. It's so different from any other house on the Michigan lakeshore and is brand new. My husband and I both noted it was nice to stay in such a new place that didn't smell like a typical old, musty cottage. This place was fabulous and modern. The owners spared no expense in creating a fabulous vacation rental. The carpet alone feels like heaven under your feet. Frankly, I dont understand anyone who has said that this rental was pricey (even though they also said it was worth it and enjoyed it!). This house is a DEAL for what you get: two floors, an infinity pool, hot tub, private beach, a deck and patio, two kitchens, a sauna, amenities and on and on. The biggest decision we had to make all week was when we had to decide each morning and afternoon: pool or beach??? Tough choices. My only regret is this house wasn't built sooner so we could have stayed earlier. We won't be able to come back this year but look forward to bringing extended family here hopefully next year.

The Mannes's home is stunningly unique and beautiful. I have stayed here often and highly recommend this get-away. Calm, quiet and peaceful --plush the entire place was spotless. It was reassuring to have the owners a text away. They were warm and friendly without being intrusive. Looking forward to future stays.

Best Family Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This was such a memorable vacation for us last August, we have booked again this year. It was myself, my wife, two kids, and friends of our kids. Just seeing the photos gets us excited again. We can't wait to get back and relax. Everything was so clean. These were by far the most luxurious accommodations we have experienced along Michigan's beaches. The price was not cheap but well worth it and well spent. The owners were responsive and available to help with any issues we had (we messed up the TV in one room and needed help getting it to work again). They also supplied additional towels and linens when we needed them. The views were spectacular from the pool especially. That was an added bonus for the kids as well as me and my wife. We are looking forward to another great time this year.

Stunning views and hospitable hosts

  • 5 of 5

This property provides stunning views of Lake Michigan (where sunsets are simple incredible). The infinity pool is first rate, as is the hot tub, but the way these two meld with the Lake is truly amazing. If you want to walk down to the beach, there are a few stairs but they are well maintained and only 60 or so steps from the pool down. On mornings the private beach area was quiet with an occasional friendly walker or jogger. Sit down on their beachside Adirondack and delve into a great book, with the waves providing the white ambient sound to fully enjoy. But, if you just want a view, you can even sit inside to take it in from the amazing windows. Plenty spacious inside, too, with higher end amenities. There were 6 of us but the rental portion of the home easily holds more. Some might not like having the landlord on site, but keep in mind there are significant upsides for this too, should you have any questions Jerry and Jamie are able to help straight away (and in a friendly way, too). Although charming downtown Holland is close by, we stayed in one night to use Weber grill poolside and just enjoyed the pool and caught a lovely sunset. We even had the pleasure of one stormy and really pretty windy night ... it made for an incredible sunset and some decent waves. Look, we love Holland and the next time we come up and want to stay in a place that is totally out of the ordinary and really quite grand, we will very strongly consider their lovely accommodations. Are there any downsides at all? Well, maybe this is not an ideal place if you have a tight budget, but if you are at all thinking about splurging for a memory-making vacation, this place is totally a great way to go! Very highly recommended!

Property has its own private beach

If there is anything more alluring than a beach in the summertime, it’s a private beach on a private estate. Thousands of years ago, glaciers carved out what is now Lake Michigan leaving behind fresh water for as far as the eye can see. Clear water laps up against magnificent sugar sand shores in this barefoot paradise.

In the dramatic dunes not far from the shoreline state parks of Saugatuck, Grand Haven, and Holland sets luxurious accommodations that overlook the breathtaking majesty of water and sky. Nothing can be more soothing than a dip in the infinity pool perched high on a dune bluff as the water seemingly spills over into the blue beyond. At night, amidst the backdrop of countless stars, a soak in the hot tub makes the burdens of everyday life seem light years away. This precious property is a romantic retreat that promises to put you back in touch with life as it was meant to be.
