We enjoyed our stay at San de Luna...property was as described on web site, clean and ready for us! Steve provided good customer service and we will certainly visit again!
On arrival the place was clean and cozy. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything needed. Steve at Surfside properties was professional and very friendly and answered anytime we needed him. We had quick access to the bay beach as well as the gulf. Tennis court was great to get out and play a game or two in the morning. Two days of our stay we found algae on the beach so it was nice to have the pool to go swimming. Several nice restaurants to choose from that are close by. Flounders restaurant was our favorite and we also tried Crabs, Cactus blossom, the fish house and peg leg Pete's. We are at Flounders 3 times during our stay. They were able to turn out good food and timely service even when busy. I would definitely plan on eating in on a Friday or Saturday night or eat early (around 1730). Any later and you will get stuck on a long wait. Waited 2 hours for a table at peg leg Pete's. One other thing worth mentioning. A guest of ours left with one set of keys and it normally would have been a $50 charge. Steve was nice and let us make a separate set of keys at the Ace hardware. Great family memories and a wonderful place to stay.
Definitely well kept up. This place had lots stuff like household items and convenience features you don't see in many rentals. It was very clean upon arrival, and no part of the condo was lacking in maintenance. You can't beat the location. The kids loved the Bay , and the adults loved the gulf.
The condo was a pleasant surprise and exceeded our expectations. Steve was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We had a great time. The location was perfect - right across the street from the Gulf and beach and behind was the pool and the sound...with a small beach.
Peg Leg Pete's Wednesday oyster special was off the charts...ate our fill of oysters on the half shell. They were delish. We especially enjoyed beach walking into the seashore park area.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet and enjoyable stay on the beach.
The property is located in a nice location with great water views front and back. The condo has been updated some and is in overall average shape inside. However, there is rotted wood on the front of the home when you enter, cracked floor tile that has been clucked in the front bathroom, the kitchen sick spray handle was coming off (unscrewing) and I personally tightened it, trash pail has been scraping the kitchen wall for some time and the paint is in need of touch up. The owner will come by during your stay and bring you some chocolate cookies.
We were very impressed with the property, with Steve (he went out of his way making sure we were comfortable!)...i would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a rental and would definitely stay there again!
