host was pleasant and accommodating
The property was conveniently located for a short walk to the free ferry and small local restaurants. Parking was hard to find, but not impossible.
Great place to stay!
The space was very clean and exactly what we needed for our visit to NYC. Thanks for everything!!
Staten Island Sanctuary
Situated on a quiet dead end street the upper two floors of this home offered a nice sanctuary after our daily trips into NYC via the free Staten Island ferry.
The check in process with Lynn was seamless allowing our group to immediately jump into our adventures.
The home is well equipped and the second story deck with grill was an added bonus.
I will definitely stay here on our next trip to NYC.
Victorian Home in a bad area!
This property was located in a VERY bad area, had no parking and the beds/bedding was horrible.
Very nice property close to the ferry
Very nice property close to the ferry. We had a group Of various ages and everyone love the house it was so comfortable so nice when are we get back from touring New York
Great location for girls trip!
Lynn was a lovely and gracious host, having the unit ready way before advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciate the small touches such as the beer, water and bagels that was left for us as a welcome.
Our apartment is within walking distance to the free Staten Island ferry, which goes directly to Lower Manhattan (the Wall Street area). From there, all of Manhattan is accessible. Wan to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island? Just walk 10 minutes into Battery Park, which is next to the ferry terminal, and get tickets for the ferry that goes there. (The Staten Island ferry passes the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, but does not stop at either one.) The Freedom Tower and the 9/11 Memorial is also walkable, as is the South Street Seaport.
Hop on the subway, which is directly in front of the terminal to get to the Empire State Building, Macy's, 42nd Street/Broadway, Central Park, 5th Ave, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and all of the NYC museums. You can get any neighborhood you want to go in NYC with the subway: Soho, the Village, Chelsea, the Bowery, Midtown, Gramercy, Union Square, the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side, and more. You can also travel to the other boroughs like Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx.
Buses and taxis are also available outside of the ferry terminal in Manhattan if you prefer.
