In the past when renting places over the internet the pictures weren't true to form. This place was just as great and homey as the pictures. We were quite pleased when we arrived and realized how nice and clean everything was and how well equipped and stocked it was for our vacation. When we arrived they had wine with cheese and cracker waiting for us. There was also cold beer in the fridge that everyone enjoyed that night on the deck after our long day of traveling. There was more then enough room for our family of ten . The neighborhood was nice with very friendly neighbors. The next day I texted Lynn and asked her if she had an extra fan in the house because my son was so used to having one. She not only had one but she came all the way over to set it up for us while we were out sightseeing. Best customer service ever. I've already been recommending their place to my friends and most definitely plan on vacationing there again. Thanks for a great vacation!!!
Great property. Roomy enough for two families. Close to Ferry with easy access to Manhattan. Owners were very responsive. We had an internet issue one morning and notified them and it was fixed before we returned. Very pleased! Thank you!
We had so much fun on the patio visiting. The home was very accommodating for our group. The only problem we had was finding parking for our van. We had to walk a few blocks to park. But it was well worth it. We fell in love with the ferry and used it almost everyday. The owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a perfect home to stay with your family. Once you step into the house you feel right at home. Lynn met us at the house to give us the keys and a tour of her home.m, also had cheese, crackers and wine to greet us. She was just wonderful and just a text away for anything. It is fully equipped, literally all you need is the grocery you want to eat. Bus stop on the corner of the block, very quiet neighborhood. If you miss the bus just a 10 min walk to Staten Islands Ferry (free). I would definitely rent this home again if I return with a big group, the house accomodates 10 people with lots of common place. We really appreciated the Christmas decorations that were put up. It has a nice porch with rocking chairs and a back terrace with BBQ and chairs ( not able to use, it was to cold). Thank you Lynn and Todd for making our vacations unforgettable.

The house was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The welcome from Chris was great as was the cheese and wine. The air conditioning made the house lovely to live in during the hot weather. The bus stop was very close and the ferry an easy walk. Would certainly recommend staying here.
I cannot say enough good things about this home! We had a group of 8 that fit very comfortably with room to spare, the home was beautiful, clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. Lynn was very welcoming and made me and my family feel right at home. Access to the ferry was easy to get to, and definitely within walking distance, and the city of course was amazing!
Our apartment is within walking distance to the free Staten Island ferry, which goes directly to Lower Manhattan (the Wall Street area). From there, all of Manhattan is accessible. Wan to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island? Just walk 10 minutes into Battery Park, which is next to the ferry terminal, and get tickets for the ferry that goes there. (The Staten Island ferry passes the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, but does not stop at either one.) The Freedom Tower and the 9/11 Memorial is also walkable, as is the South Street Seaport.
Hop on the subway, which is directly in front of the terminal to get to the Empire State Building, Macy's, 42nd Street/Broadway, Central Park, 5th Ave, Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, and all of the NYC museums. You can get any neighborhood you want to go in NYC with the subway: Soho, the Village, Chelsea, the Bowery, Midtown, Gramercy, Union Square, the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side, and more. You can also travel to the other boroughs like Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx.
Buses and taxis are also available outside of the ferry terminal in Manhattan if you prefer.
