There is a queen-size bed in the master bedroom, two singles in the second bedroom, and the couch pulls out to a queen sleeper. If you don't feel like walking to the beach you are only a ten second walk to the pool. The unit has a full-size washer and dryer.
Also, only a seven minute walk to restaurants, beach stores, and the Marco Island movie theaters.
Keep your car in a covered carport which also has a storage unit to keep the beach essentials!
Come see the best sunsets, collect seashells, and eat at great restaurants, or stay in and have a nice evening on the lanai!
My wife and I spent a relaxing week in Marco Island from 23 -30 Jan 2015. The weather was in the low 70's except for one rainy day. Coming from the Detroit area it was warm. The condo is located in a perfect spot only a few minutes from the public access to a fantastic beach (great for running , walking, swimming...). The owners provide beach chairs and an umbrella . The condo also has a pool and sitting area too. The condo is very clean and all the appliances were functional. The complex is very quiet. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable . The photos the owners include as part of their property description are accurate.
If you are interested in exploring the northwestern side of the Everglades (the only area we had not explored yet) Marco Island is in close vicinity. You can rent bikes on Marco Island but it is leisurely riding only since you'll be riding primarily on city sidewalks. You can leave the city and there are bike paths adjacent to the roads but there isn't much room. We went to Sanibel Island one day and they have some nice bike paths once you get outside the town area. Grocery stores and many seafood restaurants are near by the condo. We ate at a few places on the Isles of Capri which were good, but the best place was Leebe Fish on Marco. An unassuming place and limited menu but the fish was excellent. We ate there three times. We plan on returning next year to Marco Island and will definitely rent this condo again. One additional note, I've been renting properties from VBRO for a number of years and the only issue which seems to surface at times are very late security deposit returns. Ken & Jo, the owners, returned the deposit within the promised timeframe.
This beautifully decorated and very comfortable condo is fully equipped with all the necessities!! There is no need for heavy packing. The condo is very well kept. A short walk to the beach, dining and entertainment makes the location perfect. The storage in the carport is a nice bonus to keep fishing equipment and beach accessories. No tracking sand into the condo. The Essex complex is clean, quiet and family friendly. The private entrance is a plus. It's convenient to walk from the car to the front door especially while carrying luggage or groceries. Just a couple stairs, no elevators to deal with. It's never over crowded or noisy. The pool is a nice feature. It's also well kept. It's a good place to take a break from the beach. We've stayed at this condo several times and have enjoyed every stay. Never a problem. We always go home feeling like it's the best vacation we've ever had. It's always relaxing and peaceful. The comfort of this condo is a huge part of that feeling as well as the beauty Marco Island. Ken and Jo made the process of renting very easy and stress free. This condo is highly recommended!!!!
As a family of four, we had a wonderful stay at this condo! It came equipped with all of the essentials for a relaxing week on the beach - chairs, toys, umbrella, etc., The condo is spacious and very cozy - and the kitchen was well equipped! It is an easy walk to the South Beach public access, as well as neighborhood restaurants and shops. It was our first time to Marco Island and we look forward to returning!
