|Minimum Stay||3 - 30 nights|
With views so magnificently blue, you'll struggle to see where the sky ends and the ocean begins. You'll be bathed in warm blue light all through the house, whether you're lounging in the hot tub on the patio, sipping wine on the terrace, or just watching a movie on the large flatscreen TV in the living room. Sitting atop the Mesa neighborhood of Santa Barbara, this home has endless panoramic views and infinite possibilities. The beach is just a short distance away, along with some of the best restaurants and shopping in town. Grab a bite to eat at one of the great local spots like Alcazar and Rose Café, or whip something up at home and dine on the patio under the pergola. Rinse off the salt water from the beach in your private outdoor shower (ocean views included). You'll see the beautiful Channel Islands in the distance, which may inspire a spontaneous kayaking trip! And if you're in the mood for more adventure, check out the great nature trails (and paragliding!) over at Elings Park. With such great views and so much to do, you'll be hard-pressed to imagine anything better on your horizon.
At InvitedHome, we aim to please. But because many Santa Barbara homes do have minimum stays, we may not be able to accommodate your preferred length of visit. However, current schedules and bookings change all the time. So please don't hesitate to reach out to a vacation consultant to discuss your desired dates today!
We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Blue Horizon. The home is in very good condition and is well located in the Mesa area of Santa Barbara.
When we arrived we noticed a small problem with ants in the kitchen. We saw there were ant traps and we placed them in the kitchen and the problem was gone the next day. Other than that 1 small issue we had no problems of any kind and thus never had to contact the manager about anything during our stay.
We would definitely recommend this property to someone considering Santa Barbara and we would stay there again.
A wonderful layout maximizing the views of the Channel Islands. A great stay!
Our family of six spent the Thanksgiving Holiday here. The kitchen is completely fit out with all the housewares necessary to accommodate a traditional holiday feast. We so enjoyed the home, that we opted to have most meals here, although there is a great selection of restaurants in the area. The beach is less than a one mile walk and then a great workout if you don't mind the 240+ steps down from the street. No worries, if you don't, there is also easy access. The hot tub got daily use as did the expansive deck. We were pleased to have the Apple TV and access to Netflix, etc. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the home upon our arrival and the quality in most of the features. The two things I might suggest to the owners is to look into the washer area, as it is quite noisy, possibly put in on a rubber mat to help diffuse the vibrations? The other item is the outside area near the grill. Although there is a light, it is not bright enough for grilling. With the quality and care taken with these properties, we would highly recommend and hope to return ourselves.
My family of four, including two teenagers, had a lovely week at Blue Horizon. The views are beyond magnificent. We spent hours gazing at the ocean and trees; we ate almost every meal on the patio. The house is modern, clean and well appointed. The location was also great--easy access to groceries and less than 10 minutes to all of the downtown attractions. We had a great time.
