Nestled in Truman Annex along President’s Walk you will find The Nautilus; a sophisticated unit with comfort and luxury plus the convenience of an Old Town location and walking distance to Fort Zachary Taylor Beach, the museums on Whitehead, and the famous Duval Street.
This two bedroom two and a half bath has been updated with tiled floors, stainless steel appliances, and flat screen TVs. Cook your favorite meal in the kitchen using the supplied pots, pans, utensils, and serving ware just like you were in your own home. There is even a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience.
The balconies offer great views of the neighborhood while French doors open to the back patio, which presents a serene setting to entertain friends. Dine al fresco using the grill to prepare your fresh catch straight from the local fishermen. The community pool is a great place to get some sun or cool off from the heat.
RELAX IN STYLE...
We enjoyed the convenient location, so close to lots of restaurants and shops, and being able to walk everywhere. The best part was coming back to the unit to relax in the quiet oasis, or stroll over to the pool. Noise was never an issue during our stay. It was great having 2 bedrooms, each with their own full bath. Bedroom ceiling fans kept a nice air flow going. Plenty of room in dressers and closets for comfortably unpacking everything for the duration of our stay. We used the washer and dryer without any issues. Nice 1st floor layout with a half bath, so you don't need to run upstairs when you get in. We are definitely planning to reserve this unit again.
This is my absolute favorite place to stay in Key West! Each bedroom has their own bathroom. The furnishings are beautiful. A full kitchen is so nice. I felt like I was in my own little paradise, and when I wanted to have crazy KW fun, it was only 3 blocks away! We hung out on the back patio, the pool, and near-by food establishments. I can't wait to go back!!!
Wonderful location and furnishings. Yes, the parking lot can be noisy - we were there a month and had two occasions where we heard loud cars or people. The front bedroom is quieter and if the AC is on the whole place is pretty quiet. With the mature trees and plants this is like living in luxury in the middle of a tropical jungle. We had another couple join us on two occasions for a few days and it is quite private and comfortable for 4 people. The bikes are a nice bonus as are the washer/dryer during a longer stay.
The new owner did a wonderful job renovating this unit, new kitchen, great furniture and lots of nice touches. And Truman Annex is a very beautiful part of Key West to stay in, plus the location can't be beat for walking to restaurants, bars, etc. The only problem with this unit is that it backs up onto a Monroe County Courthouse parking lot, which is open to the public after 5:30 pm. When the master bedroom doors are open at night, which normally would be lovely, you are subjected to all the drunks that park there (because it is free) and walk to the Green Parrot and other places, returning to their cars in the early hours of the morning in very loud condition: car radios blaring, trucks revving their engines and people fighting, crying and/or continuing the party right under your door. When the bedroom doors are closed it is bearable. When they are open, it is not. Otherwise, the team at Truman & Company is great at meeting your needs and President's Walk (where the unit is located), while lacking in privacy because the units are all smacked up against each other, is very friendly, pretty and safe.

DAMAGE INSURANCE/ SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A non-refundable and non-taxable security deposit insurance premium at a flat rate of $45.00 will be added to each reservation as an alternative to a full security deposit. This policy covers up to $3000.00 worth of accidental damages. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A U.S. ADDRESS please alert our reservationist so she can update your quote. Guests without a U.S. address are not eligible for the damage insurance policy and must submit a refundable security deposit equivalent to 20% of the reservation total (not to exceed $3,000).
Early Season and Season Bookings
Arrival: 1st Day of Month / Depart: Last Day of Month
We reserve the right to deny requested dates if they decrease the optimum booking layout for the property's calendar.
All guests must be at least 25 years of age to be considered. All guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Spring break groups are prohibited and eviction strictly enforced with no refund.
A booking fee will be added to each reservation.
50% is due upon reservation with the balance due 60 days prior to arrival.
Guests are strictly prohibited from hosting a party or event at the rental property without written permission from our company.
***We highly recommend waiting to book flights until you have fully secured a reservation; meaning you have received the email confirmation and have made your deposit payment.
