Felt like home!!
We loved our time in Seacrest #305. The condo felt clean and inviting from the moment we walked in. We loved having family breakfast together each morning from the balcony, while we watched the sunrise and the dolphins play in the Gulf.
We have stayed at Seacrest in the past and really love the location of this property. The beach is quiet and beautiful,, and pool/hot tub area are an added bonus.
Dear Amber, Thank you for your positive comments. I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us! I hope your next stay and just around the corner.
This condo was a disappointment for what I paid. When we walked in and looked around it was very obvious it was dirty. The shower curtain had mold on it, the refrigerator handle had old food/dirt on it, the TOILET had not been cleaned, dirty dishes put back in the cupboard, stains on the sheets/blankets, etc. The ultimate kicker was in the bedroom closet...I saw a hole in the ceiling with a bucket underneath to catch water. The carpet underneath that was soaked and smelled of mildew. The air was not working at the time of our arrival either. I called Kaiser and told them about the air and the bucket and yes they did send people to look at it.....LOTS of people throughout our stay. I felt like someone always needed to be in the condo due to our belongings and strangers coming and going. The air was fixed but the hole never was, it was just looked at several times. One time early in the morning, a man knocked twice and before I could get out of the bed he was putting the door code in and COMING IN!!! He didn't introduce himself he simply said he needed to take up the carpet in the bedroom closet. There is more I could say but hopefully you get the just of it. My lesson in all of this is not to rent from a realty company and to stick with private owners that take more pride in their rentals.
Sorry that you experienced a broken water heater in the upstairs unit that caused major damage to our unit. We agreed with the management company Kaiser, that you would be moved to another unit while the issue was solved. As you know, sometimes unexpected catastrophes happen that is out of our control. We apologize for the trouble and hassle. We will set in place better accident and damage strategies so future guests will not be inconvenienced.
Lower quality than pictures indicated.
Our unit was not well-lit, felt cramped, & there were a few disappointments. The oven produced an odd smell. It was a mix of cleaner and something else. I made food that tasted like the oven. It had to be thrown away. The shower curtain was broken. The condo pool and restrooms did not feel nice. They needed to be cleaned and tended to. The outdoor area seemed to be partially painted and had paint chipping. The sheets and towels were very low quality. The parking needed clarification. We thought we were allowed to park anywhere at the condo. When we unknowingly parked in a reserved spot, a woman left very rude notes and stickers on our car. Overall this was below our expectations.
The unit was just upgraded with a brand new stove and light dimmers for ambiance. I believe the smell from the stove was caused by it being a new product. All reserved parking is marked, but the HOA staff should be courteous, so we will ask them to explain why you were treated in this way.
Relaxing, clean, up to date
We really enjoyed ourselves, we didn't want to leave, it was really clean, and the furniture was up to date, great view of the ocean, I will be coming at least twice a year just because of my experience
Great winter getaway
Perfect view overlooking ocean. Close to shopping and restaurants.
“Renovated Condo is Amazing”
The new renovations to this condo are incredible! The bed is super comfy and the TVs are nice size. It looks like they just painted, installed new floors and upgraded to new contemporary furniture. Plus the views are just incredible; this condo has a spectacular view of the sea. This condo is located in the heart of Gulf Shores, very close to restaurants, bars and family orientated activities. It was also nice to walk across the street to eat at a restaurant and shop at a small grocery store. We also enjoyed the Pool and Jacuzzi, so close to the oceanfront. I can’t say enough about how great this Condo is.
