About John Parent

I was a professional photographer for 20 years and enjoy photographing Provincetown and the cape. I buy property and bring them back to their glory and resell them. Provincetown is a great place to get away, there is no place like it.

John Parent purchased this condo in 2000

Why John Parent chose Provincetown

My partner and i bought this condo because of the location. Its wonderful views of the bay and great beach. The beach never gets very crowded as it is mostly used by people from Bay Colony condo. Great for swimming and long walks. Spectacular sunsets! This complex is mostly owner occupied and has a great on-site manager. It's close to town but offers a laid back feeling of Cape Cod life. The screened deck is our favorite place to hang out especially on sunny mornings with breakfast and a good book. Afternoons offer refreshing ocean breezes and shaded deck. Its a great place to enjoy waterfront dinning without leaving home.

What makes this condo unique

Enjoy large pool with bar and food next door at the Harbor Hotel. There are several bike rentals in town, shuttle comes by the condo complex about every half hour to Truro, downtown, & beaches, runs until 12:30AM. Walk down Snail Rd and venture in the dunes for great hike and incredible views.Carnival & the Portuguese parade start next door at the Harbor Hotel.

awesome place to stay

  • 5 of 5

This was the most incredible place to stay. It was very cozy and a nice place to call "home away from home". It had everything you could think of. Comfortable, quiet, clean, and was very tastefully decorated in beach style decorum. John was a tremendous help in answering all of our tourist questions. There was something for everyone in this wonderful place along the bayside shore. Games, books, TV's, great wifi (actually better than home), with a kitchen stocked with everything imaginable. After staying here, if and when we visit this area again, we would not stay anywhere else. Everything was so convenient. The weather was perfect, but God took care of that. Many thanks John for a great visit!

The place was immaculate when we arrived and air conditioning was on already when we got there.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay! Anything you might need was provided at the house including beach chairs, kitchen items, shampoo and sunscreen. Bedrooms were a really good size with TV's in each room. A nice selection of DVD'S was available. Parking space was right in front of the front door which was very convenient. Beach across the street was nice for the kids at times and Herring Cove Beach was only a 5 minute drive! We walked into town several times and took trolley a couple of times. Overall it was a great week! Thanks John!!

Beautiful condo!

  • 5 of 5

We loved everything about our stay! Location was great, and we loved the beach across the street. Especially during low tide. John was very responsive and left plenty of information for us to find our way around Provincetown. I would definitely recommend staying here, and we will definitely be back!

Amazing Place! Highly Recommend!!

  • 5 of 5

This place is incredible. First of all it is completely updated and very clean! All bedding, towels, sunblock, soap, shampoo, beach towels, beach chairs, games, etc are supplied! You don't need to bring anything with you! There is also a laundry facility is the basement of the condo too. The owner supplied the coins to do laundry!

Secondly this place is a 20 second walk to the bay. You can see the water from the screened in porch. The low tide here is the best! It goes out so far and is very fun to explore through. We found snails, hermit crabs, crabs, and sand dollars. The high tide comes right up to the wall but just a short distance away, you can sit on the beach. Across the street you have access to the hotel pool. It's beautiful, clean and there is an outdoor bar and food service. It's the Harbor Hotel. It's a 1 minute walk to the pool from the condo.

Also PTown is a 25 minute walk from the condo but the hotel next door also has bus service every 30 minutes and takes you right to the PTown pier. Just down Snail road, about a 5 minute walk from condo, are the dunes. It is a 45 minute walk across, up, and down the dunes but the views are gorgeous and when you arrive at the National Seashore it's even prettier. We saw seals swimming very close to the shore! Pack a dinner and go around 4:30. Not too hot and you want to walk back before it gets dark!!!

Finally, 15 minutes away is Corn Hill Beach. We went clamming there at low tide. I highly recommend it. Just make sure you get a weekly permit at the Truro Town Hall. It was $25. Overall this place is amazing and I highly recommend it! We look forward to staying here again soon!

Great condo, great location

  • 5 of 5

Our family loved our stay at Cape Cod. This condo was sparkling clean, comfortable, quiet, and well stocked with anything one might need on vacation, down to the boogie boards and beach chairs! We loved going across the street at low tide and finding hermit crabs, crabs, sea slugs, starfish, and a sea dollar! The kids also loved going across the street to swim at the pool at the Harbor hotel. We made many trips into P-town (very short ride or bike ride) for shopping and great food. Lobster Pot was great and we found a hidden gem, The Red Inn at the far side of town. Also highly recommend getting an over sands pass! We took our portable grill and cooked dinner at sunset, and saw seals and whales from the beach. We also enjoyed biking around the bike trails. Overall a great stay!
