About Todd Cerino
I was first introduced to Seneca Lake by my wife in 1994. She 'convinced' me to visit the lake with her family because she was from Rochester and her family had been going to Seneca Lake since the 1930s. So, I reluctantly went along. When I got there I was absolutely floored by the beauty of the region and by the vast scale and size of the lake. From the first day I arrived in 1994, I knew I wanted to spend as much time in the Finger Lakes Region as humanly possible.
Todd Cerino purchased this House in 2014
Why Todd Cerino chose Penn Yan
Our home truly has a unique combination of accessibility, privacy, level yard, lots of beach frontage. It is absolutely the perfect property where you can gather with friends & family - and has the perfect location for you to unwind, relax and become clear-minded.
What makes this House unique
Our home offers incredible views of the lake from every room. You are intimately close to the 'Waters Edge' - so much so that the gentle lapping of the waves at the shoreline from your bedroom window will undoubtedly lull you to sleep each night. Last, the level yard allows you to spread out and enjoy family games of badminton, corn-hole, frisbee, etc. As soon as you step foot onto Waters Edge you'll immediately immerse yourself in "The Lake Life" at Seneca Lake.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Cute lake home right on the water with a beautiful front room view. 3 nice bedrooms. Nicely decorated. One bathroom. We would stay here again!
Neat, tidy and private.
The property is very well renovated and maintained. This was our second stay at this location and we will most likely rent the property again in the future. Two things that must be noted when you rent this property. The bathroom is very small but nicely remodeled and the bridge over the small stream to the property is a tight turn if you have a large vehicle. These are things that cannot be changed but overall the cottage is wonderful! We saw a variety of waterfowl during out stay and my son even found a horn coral fossil on the beach. This is the place to stay if you enjoy beautiful views and privacy!
Amazing Vacation Rental
Had a Great Stay here with friends. The location is clean and cozy and just steps away from the water. Great place to spend relaxing time with Friends and Family. Beautiful Views.
Awesome getaway for birthday trip!
My wife planned a getaway trip for my birthday and found this awesome home! The place is beautiful and made for a great stay. Highly recommend for getaway trips.
Thank you for your comments on the house. We love the fact that you were able to enjoy some quality time at our property for your birthday! Like everyone else, we immediately fell in love with the lot and the location of the house at the Waters Edge. We've done a number of upgrades to the house over the past two years, and have several more renovation projects in the works that will be completed at the beginning of 2019. Check back soon for updated photos. Thanks again. We'd love to have you back as a part of our "family" of returning guests in the future!
Overall good for the money but smaller than pictures make it seem. Luckily there was only the two of us. It would have been tight with two other couples. The house is definitely older but the updated Kitchen and bath (albeit very small) were nice. The bedroom floor we stayed in almost seemed uneven or sagging. I think being on a carved out hillside it has settled over the years and may not be too level (noticed before we went tasting ;)
Great Central location on the lake
It was me and my fiance's first time in the fingerlakes region and we really enjoyed that we could travel to multiple wineries (one by kayak), towns, and brewery's within a half hour of the house. The grocery store is about 15 minutes away and the selection of meets made for some great home cooked meals. It's apparent that the owner of this house has worked hard to make it comfortable for those staying here. The shower has good pressure and is hot. The beds were too firm for our liking but that's the only negative thing I can say about it! There's WiFi and cable TV for when the weather is too poor for drinking wine outdoors! I think it will make for a nice vacation place for you and your family.
Also, A kayak rental ran us $60 for three days, so take that into consideration when you're budgeting for your trip!
We are located in the heart of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail and are ideally located in the middle of the lake on the western shore. We are within 5 minutes of several world renowned wineries, and are within a 10-15 minute drive of all of the wineries along the western shore of Seneca Lake. We are also very close to Watkins Glen State Park, the towns of Watkins Glen & Geneva, and the villages of Penn Yan, Hammondsport, Dresden and Dundee.
