Starshine is a two-bedroom Sears and Roebuck cottage that was constructed in 1950. It was completely restored and renovated to better-than-new condition in 2013.
Bamboo floors, comfortable modern furnishings, ceiling fans, lots of windows, and the beautiful surrounding woods make this the perfect getaway cottage.
Starshine is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood on the eastern end of the Geneva-on-the-Lake strip (Ohio's oldest resort town). It is one block away from the beautiful waters of Lake Erie and one block from the fun and excitement of the Geneva-on-the-Lake strip.
Starshine is a two-bedroom cottage with a double bed in each bedroom. There is one bathroom with a shower. Bed linens are provided; bath and beach towels are not provided. The full-size kitchen is equipped with all cookware and dishes. Maximum of four guests, please. Starshine is situated on two large private lots, with plenty of room for lawn sports. No smoking. No pets.

The cottage was very clean and well equipped. Dan, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating. The cottage is close enough to the strip that it's any easy walk but far enough away that it's not overrun with people. It was perfect for my wife and me.
Cozy and very clean cottage within walking distance to all of the fun offered at Geneva on the Lake. We had a great time visiting Ohio from Florida. Dan (The cottage owner) was awesome to work with and his cottage offered everything advertised and more. We stayed in the cottage for 5 nights and felt right at home while visiting family and enjoying all of the activities along the Strip of Geneva on the Lake. We will definitely be return customers!

My family had a very nice stay at the cottage. The cottage was clean and organized and all the appliances worked well. Dan was easy to communicate with and everything ran very smoothly. It was also nice to be so close to the strip. I would definitely stay again and would recommend others to stay here as well
The home is neat, clean, cozy, and peaceful. The outdoor patio, the screened in porch, and the fire pit really made our trip relaxing.
Our family of four really enjoyed the stay in this cozy cabin. We could tell the cabin had a long history of helping people make happy memories at Geneva-on-the-Lake. The kitchen sink and cabinets were adorable and straight out of the 1950s. The doors also seemed original. This was juxtaposed against a completely remodeled bathroom, freshly decorated bedrooms, a flatscreen TV, and wifi.
What we loved most about the cabin was its location well off the strip with a double lot. It offered a little bit of privacy, as well as a fire ring and plenty of room to relax in the back yard. Yet, a walk to the strip was just a hop, skip and a jump.
Very cozy and comfortable cottage! Quick walk to the strip! Cottage is well stocked and was perfect for weekend getaway. The owner, Dan, was very helpful and easily reached. Will definitely stay again!

VRBO/HomeAway Renters Agree to the Following Terms:
1. The property is located at 5144 Fairfax Drive, Geneva-on-the-Lake, OH 44041. Bed linen provided. Bring bath/beach towels and toiletries.
2. Term of Lease. This lease begins at 4:00 pm on “Check-in Date” and ends at 1:00 pm on “Check-out Date”.
3. Duties of the Parties.
3.1 Condition of Property. Guest shall perform the following duties as posted before check out. Please leave the cottage the way you found it!
3.2 Repair of Property. Homeowner may enter the premises at all reasonable times in order to inspect the property or make repairs.
3.3 Smoking. Guest understands that the rental unit is non-smoking, and agrees to smoke only outdoors (not on screened-in porch) and dispose of cigarette butts properly.
3.4 Pets. Guest understands that no pets are permitted on the property.
3.5 Maximum Occupancy. Four guest maximum allowed. No subleasing or reletting of property.
3.6 Age. Renter must be at least 25 years of age.
3.7 Drug Activity. There will be no keeping, using, selling, distributing, or manufacturing of illegal substances on the property.
4. Obligations of the Parties.
4.1 Lost and Stolen Items. Homeowner is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
4.2 House Rules. Guest will follow all posted house rules.
5. Governing Law. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Ohio. Each of the parties irrevocably consents to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in Ohio, as applicable, for any matter arising out of or relating to this Agreement.
6. Indemnification. Guest agrees to indemnify and hold Homeowner harmless from any liability for personal injury or property damage sustained by Guest or parties invited onto the property by Guest.
7. Entire Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement of the parties and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous oral or written agreements concerning this subject matter.
* Approximate monthly rate. Actual rate will depend on the days of the month you stay.
