The cabin is nestled into the bosom of the hillside, nurtured in comforting serenity. Although seemingly similar to those around it, Hawk's Landing provided the backdrop to yet another family Thanksgiving that included no extended family, just the four of us. Escaping tot he woods is special, like seeing the beach, desert, or other place you keep longing to re-familiarize yourself with. Spending time with our now grown children becomes more special when sharing the stream, trees and hot tub! We will fondly remember the time spent here and look forward when the hills of North GA call us back to visit....and relax!
We liked that the cabin was secluded, but not all the way secluded. It was close to both of the nearby towns, Ellijay and Blue Ridge! The cabin was nice, but it was dusty. Like someone hasn't stayed in it in awhile. A lot of the lights didn't work and one of the bed frames was very squeaky and shaky. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
This is our second time staying at Hawks Landing we enjoyed as much this year as last.
Nice weekend getaway. Great roads to cabin. Comes equipped. Perfectly located between Blue Ridge and Elijah. Enjoyed grilling out and the hot tub. We will visit again.
This cabin had everything we were looking for in a relaxing weekend. The location was ideal between two quaint towns. I highly recommend for a lovely weekend getaway.
We really enjoyed our stay . Our favorite memory was seeing our pup getting his first experience with snow! The hot tub was a great place to unwind after a hike or simply warm up from playing outside. Having a well stocked kitchen was clutch and the peace and quiet was amazing. Being from FL , we really enjoyed the snowy trip and using a fireplace . Netflix was an asset , fun bunk beds and our favorite movies were included in what made this trip special. Stock up at Ingles before heading up the mountain in case you dont want to come down! We loved everything about the clean cabin and Kim was so helpful and kind to coordinate with. We would recommend it hands down to any of our family and friends.
Beautiful cabin. Very clean, well maintained. Everything you need is there. So comfortable we decided to stay an extra day! Kim was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again. We saw so many deer coming in and out of the property. Peaceful.
