Hello, I am Mike.My family and I love the Gatlinburg area and the Smoky Mountains. We also own 4 other log cabin rental properties in Pigeon Forge.
Mike Hrib purchased this cabin in 2004
We looked at several locations in the mountains and this property offered a great view with easy access to the cabins even in winter conditions. In addition, it is located just minutes from anything that you want to do in Pigeon forge but still offers privacy and seclusion from the main traffic.
This property allows us to vacation while feeling like we are at home. The kids can leave a mess and run around and have fun and we do not have to worry about neighbors or a maid interruption. The dog has a safe place to stay while we are on our outings. We are close to all major attractions and secluded enough to hear the birds chirping.
I wanted to let you know just left Lee's log cabin. We had such a wonderful time and wish we could have stayed longer!
Your cabin is the cleanest cabin I have ever been in and we were so impressed that it was equipped with absolutely everything we could need!
Thank you for letting us stay. We will definitely be back and recommend your cabins to all of friends! "
The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed. It was located close to many activities and restaurants, but was secluded, so that you did not feel like you were around a ton of other folks. The owner was a pleasure to work with and very responsive & attentive. He emailed me a detailed pre-check in packet with easy directions and tips. The last road leading up to the cabin was a little treacherous and could use paving - probably not owner's responsibility - as there are a few other cabins, but other than that, no complaints. We really appreciated the property binder that was left in the cabin, also. There are great areas tips and suggestions. Seriously, this rental and owner has pro skills!! Thanks for everything!
Great cabin. There's all the comforts of home here. Central air works great. There are plenty of dishes and cookware. The washer and dryer was very nice to have. Loved the location. It was far enough away for quiet but close enough to town for convenience. Dollywood is just down the road. Went there twice. Bed was pretty comfortable. Didn't use the upstairs loft bed. The owner is great to respond to messages sent to him. The only things negative about this cabin was the parking area (little tight). That didn't upset me too much though.(Knew that by looking at the pictures on the website). The driveway could use some repair. There are very large potholes and dips to navigate when coming up the road to the cabin. That's really the only things bad I can say about this cabin. I would not hesitate to rent Lees cabin again when we're in the area again. Thanks Mike.
The owner was great, always texted back promptly. I booked this just a couple weeks before our trip. The view was great, didn't get to see the turkeys :( The parking as mentioned in other reviews is doable, just be careful. We used the grill to cook out and found everything we needed in the kitchen except a basting brush, but I bought a pack of two and left one behind for you to use when you book this great cabin!!!
My mornings there started by drinking a cup of coffee on the porch, being sung to by multitudes of birds and watching the mist rise off the mountains. I ended my days back on that same porch with a glass of wine and enjoyed the show of fireflies dancing in the field below. The beds were comfortable. They had great amenities. The owner was always available and went out of his was to rearrange us based on new info. You're so close to everything!! But the peacefulness of the cabin makes you feel far away from the noise. we enjoyed our stay.
Cabin is just as the pictures depict, other than the floors are worn and the bedroom carpet could be stream cleaned. The jetted tub did work for me. I believe another review said it didn't. However, you need to make sure the on button is not pushed in before you turn on the water or the jets will not work. The beds were very comfortable and the kit fully stocked. The view at anytime of the day was breathtaking. We have usually stay at Private Affair which is directly behind Lee's. We decided to try Lee's since we thought my daughter was coming this year and it is a two bedroom. I could not believe how much better the views are from Lee's. The parking is not as large of an area but it is not too small or dangerous and someone said. There is only one more cabin pass Lee's so there is little to no traffic. The edge I have walked down to walk my dogs. You can park on the other side of the road if the edge worries you, when it comes to parking. We love these cabins because they are close to everything. You are just a mile or so from Dolly Woo, but yet still secluded. There are no crazy or winding roads.
We really enjoyed the cabin and wished we had more time to stay through the weekend.
It was exactly what we were looking for and the view was great.
Would certainly recommend it to anyone!
