Learn about the local ecosystem hands on at the nearby Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, or wander the Lemon Tree Village shops, watch the Tanglewood Marionettes, visit the Ladies’ Library, and stop at the Brewster General Store for a toy and a treat. For dinner, grab some fresh fish at Nauset Fish Market and enjoy a relaxing meal at home. About Sue Thomas
After vacationing in Brewster every year for the past 20 years, we finally took the plunge. Spending so much time on the Cape, we knew location was key - Brewster, north of 6A! We also knew that, architecturally, we wanted some traditional Cape qualities in our home, but also wanted to create the same calm, open feeling inside our house that we feel at the beach.
Sue Thomas purchased this House in 2014
Why Sue Thomas chose Brewster
We love the bay beaches and wildlife near this beautiful home in Brewster. This comfortable and modern house is in a quiet, serene neighborhood, yet it's an easy walk to swim, kayak or beachcomb. We like being far from the crowds yet still only 10 minutes from restaurants, shopping and entertainment, and 20 minutes from the exciting surf at the National Seashore. MassAudubon has a spectacular preserve in Wellfleet, as well as offering a wide range of interactive walks and paddles for all levels - kids, families or adults.
What makes this House unique
Our house is beautiful and open, with quality everything. The professionally landscaped and maintained yard is expansive and private. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, and with no traffic the road is safe for walking, biking and small children. The beaches are close enough to walk to them several times a day. Be sure to head down to Mant's Landing at sunset - you'll find children playing in the mudflats, couples in beach chairs enjoying an after dinner cocktail (how civilized), photographers and neighbors, all watching the sun's slow descent and ending in applause all around.

Perfect Location...perfect house!!
Our vacation in Brewster was greatly enhanced by this beautiful and spacious home on a quiet street in walking distance to the beach. The house was impeccably clean and had everything a family would want to insure a great summer vacation… kayaks, beach toys for children, beach chairs and a large back yard which we took advantage of with a game of softball. After a day on the beach or gallery hopping, we spent our nights outside on the deck, cooking on the grill and relaxing by candlelight around the round table. Bedtime was a pleasure for all because the beds were so comfy!! Even my 4 yr. old grandson said he liked his bed!! Sue, the homeowner, was terrific and sent us a list of places to eat, great beaches, things to do, galleries and so much more. Her recommendations were the best! She even told us the ideal places to take photos. I highly recommend 60 Ambergris Circle and honestly can’t say enough good things about it and it's homeowner, Sue.
