A private drive leads you to our traditional home featuring bright, airy rooms and tasteful furnishings. Open and spacious floor-plan with hardwood floors throughout, vaulted ceilings in the living room, dining room & family room. The family room enjoys views of the backyard and the 16x32 in-ground pool with brick patios. A separate study provides a comfortable, quiet space and can also be used as a home office.
The kitchen is fully equipped with 2 ovens, dishwasher, custom cabinetry and everything you could possibly need. The formal dining room comfortably seats ten. French doors lead to a brick terrace and a mahogany dining table with room for 10+. First floor has 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths while the 2nd floor features 2 bedrooms with a full bath & laundry.
Outside, you'll find flowering beds surrounding the property, a water feature with a small pond, 1/2 court, BBQ and furniture perfect for outside dining and plenty of space to unwind.
Walk to the village & houses of worship. Short drive to ocean beaches. Tanger outlets, North & South Fork vineyards are all easily accessible.
Its like a taste of Tuscany without the jet lag. Elegant, yet homey, great for families and entertaining. Wonderful pool with beautiful gardens. Cook's kitchen with outdoor gas grill. Our week at 27 Baycrest is a highlight of the summer and has made for fabulous family memories. We live in NYC and this has become a family tradition for us since 2011.
We stayed with friends and our young children (ages 2 to 3.5) over the long fourth of July weekend. The pictures do not do the property justice. The home was so comfortable and spacious. There was a great living area that quickly became the kids "playroom," right off the kitchen, so we could keep an eye on them while cooking or just congregating in the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped, with a barbecue right outside, making it easy to prepare any meal. The bedrooms are also removed from the living area, making it easy to get some rest while others are using the living area. The pool area was very pretty and we were thrilled that it was fenced in. The house was an easy drive to town and a quick walk to 7/11. Patty and Steve were a pleasure to deal with, and we are already planning our return trip for next summer!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this adorable house. From the beginning of our inquiry, the homeowners were extremely attentive and prompt in responding to any questions that we had. Upon entering the home, we found it to be immaculate and beautifully decorated ( and I am tough to please:)). The pool was cleaned the morning prior to our arrival and was such a wonderful luxury to have for the children. The house comfortably slept the eight of us (4 adults and 4 children b/n the ages of 9 and 3) and was very private, as it is located off of a long driveway. It is very close to the beaches and village where there are several cute places to eat, including Margherita Grille, which is family friendly and fairly reasonable. Also in the village are several ice cream shops, a deli, bakery, and pizza place. Although Rogers Beach requires a permit, there are several other beaches very close by that are reasonably priced for parking and Coopers Beach in Sothampton is only about 15 miles away (beautiful and one of our favorites!). We would definitely recommend staying here as our kids were very sad to say goodbye!
My family (husband, daughters ages 2 and 5), and I shared this lovely home with my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and her fiancé for a week during a family wedding in Westhampton in June 2013. The house was just perfect for us. It had tons of spacious rooms, the beds were comfortable, and the house had everything we needed (except blankets). The master bedroom was huge, and all the other bedrooms were large and super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could possibly have needed, and we're big cooks. The yard is absolutely beautiful, and our girls loved exploring and swimming in the pool, which was protected by a safety gate. What impressed me the most was how very clean and pristine the property was. It wasn't at all cluttered but didn't have any of the wear and tear that often characterizes rental properties. The grill, in fact, was brand new, never used! The house is a short drive to town and the area beaches, though guests should note that the Westhampton Beaches require passes held by residents. There is a public beach about 10 minutes away, but we didn't go there. Having the house on a private road was great with the small children. We highly recommend staying here!
My husband and I, along with our two sons, age 3 and 8, shared this home for a week with my parents and sister. We knew by the pictures of this home that it would be very nice, but when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. It is much larger than expected, beautifully decorated, with comfortable spaces for relaxing and spending time together throughout the sprawling first floor. Much like the home, the backyard space offers an array of different areas to relax, eat and play among the beautiful lush gardens. We truly enjoyed our time in this home, it is meticulously maintained and everything you could need is at your finger tips. It was also in a great, private location, extremely close to the Town of Westhampton and all of its beautiful beaches. The owners were extremely helpful, polite and accommodating. We highly recommend this property.
