About Mike Hrib

We love the Gatlinburg area and the Great Smoky Mountains. We also own 4 other log cabin rental properties in Pigeon Forge.

Mike Hrib purchased this cabin in 2004

Why Mike Hrib chose Sevierville

We looked at several locations in the mountains and this property offered a great view with easy access to the cabins even in winter conditions. In addition, it is located just minutes from anything that you want to do in Pigeon Forge but still offers privacy and seclusion from the main traffic area.

What makes this cabin unique

This property allows us to vacation while feeling like we are at home. The kids can leave a mess and run around and have fun and we do not have to worry about neighbors or a maid interruption. The dog has a safe place to stay while we are on our outings. We are close to all major attractions and secluded enough to hear the birds chirping.

Amazing vacation!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a wonderful time celebrating our birthdays here. The cabin was beautiful and secluded but yet SO conviently close to town. Each morning we were greeted by turkeys & different wildlife and the view of the mountains was wonderful. We would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful Family Vacation

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Hearts Ease from Oct 20-27, 2017 was really great. The cabin was warm and inviting. We really enjoyed the 3 fireplaces as the weather was quite chilly on several days during our stay

We enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub was a plus! Would definitely stay again. The area was quite and the cabin was located at the end of the road which made it really private.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location!

  • 5 of 5

We did really enjoy our stay-this cabin has a great location-close to Dollywood, shows and restaurants-but still out in woods where you did not feel cramped.

There were just small few issues that were no big deal-like a bulb was missing in one of the bedroom lamps-but we left the housekeepers a note so they would know.

The only thing we really saw as far as housekeeping were the upper windows going out over the back patio doors were really dirty with a lot of webs with the little lady bugs caught in them, which I know those are hard to reach since they are so high-so I am sure they are really hard to keep clean.

The only suggestion that we really have is it would be good if the house keepers had a leaf blower to blow all the bugs and leaves off the decks and out door hot tub before new folks checked in and since there are 3 gas fire places-we think it would be a good idea to have some propane gas detectors installed and some smoke detectors-just as a safety precaution.

This cabin had good places to park for 2 cars-where the one below us did not-and a lot of the others we saw did not.

When we were leaving-we noticed that the folks who stayed in the cabin below us left right before we did and left dirty diapers thrown on the ground and the lids off of their trash cans-and we thought what a shame for people to leave such a beautiful area that way. If we decide to come back next year-we would definitely consider staying here again-perfect for 2 couples!

Great getaway

  • 5 of 5

Great place to stay, it was super clean and quiet. We also loved how close we were to everything. The owners supplied toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, but only 2 trash bags, luckily we brought extra with us, the Kroger was also really close. Overall loved our experience here and would definitely recommend it to anyone checking it out! To the owner: you may want to replace the coffee pot it is not working correctly it takes up to 2 hrs to brew 12 cups.

Cabin was nice but showing signs of wear.

  • 3 of 5

Deck was most disappointing. Growth of trees, saplings, and bushes block what should be nice view. View is nothing like in pictures. Landscape overgrown. Never cut back. Disappointing
