Perfect location - sandy beach in walking distance 5 minutes away. Secured location. Well appointed turn key condo for short-term or long-term hosting. Easy to commute from the international airport if a vehicle is rented. Scooter rental is also an option for sightseeing. Or travel by public bus route#10, which would ride downtown. Ride ferry from downtown Nassau over to Paradise Island and enjoy a day at the world famous Atlantis.

Our mix of English history/sensibility while at the same time being positioned in the Atlantic/Caribbean and being so close to the United States, made The Bahamas become the gateway to the 'New World' in 1492.
This was a perfect place to bring my mother for her birthday weekend. Tanya is a warm and welcoming host. The condo was wonderfully decorated, it was clean it was in a very good location as far as getting to the grocery store and to the beach. Security was very thorough. You need codes to get into the gated community. Which was comforting since this the area was more residential in nature than the hospitality areas of Nassua. Truly a wonderful place to stay in for a weekend or for an extended time. Definitely rent a car or connect with Tanya to connect with the taxi drivers in the area. All your drivers should have licenses posted on their front windows. Every driver is kind and prompt. They provided excellent service which helped us see all of Nassau. I will recommend this home and Tanya to all of my friends.
I really enjoyed my stay at this property. The location made visiting family and friends easy. The property was thoroughly thought out, ensuring this home was "your home away from home" at a affordable price. I will be returning!!!!
Pros: super large 3 bed 2 bath condo equipped with everthing you can think of, floaties, lounge chairs for the beach and beach umbrellas, extra bedding and pillows and cleaning supplies.
Cons: not 5 minutes walk to beach and bus stop, bath tub water didn't come on.
I recommend a vehicle but overall nice clean place to stay.

We selected this property based on the listing photos. The condo is absolutely beautiful, quite spacious and very elegant with high end accesories.
Everything from linens, extra blankets, dishes, and even beach floats were provided.
As a former resident in the Bahamas, I can assure you that the condo is conveniently located in the Cable Beach area and within walking distance to shops and the beach.
As a bride to be, I booked the condo for my immediate family that flew in for my wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would book again with Mrs. Turnquest in a heart beat!!
One small note, be sure to have the owner or property manager be sure to show you where the AC switch is located, it took a couple of days before we were able to locate it, other than this small oversight we have no complaints.

Car is recommended though not necessary. Taxis and public bus route #10 are available.
Scuba diving and snorkeling among coral reefs in clear blue aquamarine sea. Jet skies also available at Goodman's Bay Beach which is 10 minutes drive away.
Enjoy local cuisine of conch, a Bahamian delicacy prepared as conch fritters, cracked conch, scorched conch or conch salad at the Fish Fry at Arawak Cay. Have a local Bahamian beer, Kalik too!
