You won’t need a car - located in Washington Square West neighborhood of Center City. Historic sites and attractions are mostly within waking distance. Easy access to public transportation for those sites too far away for walking. Many of the city’s top restaurants, cafes and bars are within a short walk. Owner happy to make dining suggestions. Just five blocks to the Convention Center and Philadelphia's historic Reading Terminal Market. South Philadelphia's Italian market is also a short walk.
My family and I really enjoyed and appreciated having the opportunity to rent your apartment in Philadelphia. It was all you advertised. I wanted you to know how much we enjoyed the experience, and we would highly recommend it to others.
Great alternative to hotel stay for traveling on business. Comfortable and Quiet. Close to great city fare.
Comfortable walk to convention center and hotel venues; day or night.
Downpour soaked me getting out of cab. Laundry services were welcome relief.
I am VRBO veteran. This is a great place!
Perfect location for quiet and sightseeing, a rare mix that is hard to find. Family of four stayed. Be aware the futon style bed is very firm and not for everyone. Beautiful inside and meticulously clean. Great if you are without a car. We loved it.
We stayed for 3 nights with our baby, and it was perfect! Clean, modern, and spacious in a convenient location. I really liked the furniture and layout of the space. On a quiet street with lots of restaurants and cafes within a couple blocks. The hosts were very accommodating in allowing us to check-in early -- which was much appreciated given that we were traveling with our baby. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!
I stayed for 3 nights in May to attend the AIA convention. The apartment is in a charming area and is conveniently located near good restaurants and cafes. The convention center and many historic sites and museums are within a 10-15 minute walk. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The extra bed in the den worked well when my husband and 2 kids joined me on the weekend to visit museums. The owner replied promptly to texts whenever I had any questions.
This lovely apartment is located off a narrow cobblestone street and was even nicer in person than the pictures. The kitchen is beautiful and has really good quality dishes, pots and pans and appliances. We didn't cook much but we certainly could have had every meal in. We really liked the design and feel of the place, for a small place every inch is used wisely. We even were able to do some laundry before we left. We didn't use a car since we were attending downtown events and it was not that far to walk. Plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby. My only complaint is that it rained all week ;)
Even better than the pictures, this modern, sleek but comfortable 2 bed home is the first floor of a converted carriage house. We have so many positives I don't know where to start. The cheek-pinchable cute no-cars cobblestone street? The ease of getting in (electronic key pad), online (wireless provided), around (11 min walk from Jeff Station, but also within 2 blocks of easy-to-use crosstown buses), asleep (great bed in cozy bedroom with sliding door and lovely Japanese-inspired mini-wardrobe), clean (what a shower! great hot water too. and full size washer dryer with soap provided!), and fed (gorgeous kitchen with everything one would need for every meal, including thoughtfully provided coffee and hot chocolate pods for the Keurig and oils for cooking; near tons of great food places if you want to eat out)? So, so great. The one thing (that is so minor it doesn't influence my star rating) is that the second bed (futon) provided is fine for one person, but not for two - lumps galore on one side. But this is such a delightful place. We stayed 9-10 days and would have stayed more. Terrific quick and efficient interactions with owners. Love it, and will be back!
Located just off of Antique Row in Center City's historic Washington Square West neighborhood. Located 3 blocks from the Kimmel Center/Academy of Music, 5 blocks from the Reading Terminal Market and Convention Center, 8 blocks from Independence Hall/Liberty Bell. Great location for urban explorers with numerous top-tier restaurants and shops nearby. Walk to Rittenhouse Square, Old City, and South Street attractions. No car necessary.
