Get away from it all with your family at this luxurious mountain home built in 2006 located in Bartlett, NH. 1700 sq. ft. CENTRAL AC. Three bedrooms plus loft, family room, full kitchen, dining room, 2 full bathrooms, full size washer and dryer and newly finished Mud Room and wrap around deck with gas grill. Minutes to Storyland, Shops, Golf. Great location. A unique and very luxurious way to enjoy the best of the region. 5 Queen beds, 2 twin beds.
We were just 6 people and although there are nice beds for 12, it would be a tight fit. In the rooms with 2 queens, one side of each bed is up against a wall. The dining room table has only 7 chairs. There are 6 more chairs and two tables out on the deck which could be used in good weather. Very nice entry room for shoes, boots, hats, coats, etc. Bring extra paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher soap, and all condiments. Also bring measuring cups and spoons if you intend to cook. Nice selection of pots and pans. Very large skillet, but no griddle. Electric coffee pot and rice steamer (did not use the later.) The towels were thick and nice. Ice maker hardly made any ice at all. Filtered water available, a plus as, we could refill our water bottles. Very nice front loader and washer! We would stay here again, but were glad there were only 6 of us. Oh, the driveway is very steep, looks like this could be a problem in case of ice or snow. Very close to Jackson, NH and not far to grocery store in Glen. Lots of nice hikes with wide range of difficulties from easy on up in the area.
We had a pleasant and peaceful stay at this home. The location of the home is awesome. The home is neat and clean includes place, bathrooms and kitchen utensils etc., Especially owner of this home Mr.Wojciech was responded at all the times for all of our queries/clarifiations since we quite new for that place. Overall experience is feel awesome.
The house was perfect for our family. We rented the house for our family so that we could attend a wedding at the Eagle Mt Resort. The house is only 2 miles from the resort. It was spacious for the 8 of us. Kitchen had everything we needed. Only problem was the weather, we couldn't enjoy the deck for morning coffee.
Plenty of sleeping for larger groups. Deck wraps halfway around the house overlooking beautiful fall leaves. Kitchen was small but nicely equipped. Close enough to shopping, restaurants and activities. House was clean and owner was easy to get in touch with. I would return again and I would recommend this rental. Good seafood at the Lobster Trap, and a good breakfast at Glen Junction right down the street. Mt. Washington was really nice.
A fantastic home at a great rate! We stayed here for a week with our two children and our parents. The house was near perfect - plenty of sleeping space for everyone and seating during the day. It was clean and had all the basic things you would need while staying away for a week - plenty of towels, washer/dryer, cooking utensils etc. The owners were great and quick to respond to any questions we had while planning our trip. Our deposit refund was processed very quickly. The location allows you to avoid the North Conway traffic unless you wanted to head into town. There is so much to do nearby - Jackson Falls, Story Land, Echo Lake, Diana's Baths, lots of hiking and even Santa's Village is only about an hour away. Kringle's Pizza is just a few minutes down the road between the house and Story Land and had amazing pizza!
The only drawbacks, if you can call them that, are that there is very little yard space for kids to run around. Also there is very little counter space which makes it challenging to store items if you want to grocery shop for a few days/week at a time. The addition of a shelving unit in the mudroom would greatly alleviate the lack of storage in the kitchen. The other thing to be aware of is while there is a small woodsy expanse between the house and Rte 16 you will still hear traffic on the main road while sitting on the deck. However, the traffic wasn't constant or that loud or bothersome to us, but if you're looking for the very quiet woodsy experience this may not be it. I would recommend this place to friends and we will definitely be looking at staying at this location again on our next trip up to NH.
