We loved this cabin. En Route to the city, it was nice to be called and notified that we did not have to stop by the management office to check in. The directions to the cabin were perfect though it was a bit challenging to find our way through the mountains in the dark. The sign identifying the cabin was hidden but thankfully our cabin stood out due to its unique design. Upon entry we found the cabin was very clean, although the seating in the living & gaming areas could stand being re-upholstered and the bedroom comforters replaced as they were somewhat soiled from normal wear and tear. A nice surprise was that the projection screen in the game room has actually been replaced by a nice large screen TV but I think some nice speakers need to be installed to complete the space instead of relying on the TV speakers. The pool was a nice addition, even though we did not use it. The hot tub worked great (would have loved to have a view of the stars while in it, though) and the muti-game arcade system was great-to-have as well.
We did have a few minor issues. Our kitchen faucet was not working and was stuck on the spray nozzle so whenever we turned on the water, it immediatly sprayed at us. It was a small annoyance, but maintenence came out the next day to rectify that issue. As we arrived at night, we planned to grill our dinner instead of heading back down the mountain, but that plan was foiled as nice gas grill on the front deck had no working lights around it so that we could see. No biggie - we cooked inside. Another thing that annoyed us was that we had no access to the WIFI. We called maintenance about it, and they informed us that there is no wifi in the cabin - even though we were looking straight at the router and the SSID displayed "Splish Splash" clearly. There was a couple who owns their own insurance business in our group so it was a little disheartening that they could not connect their PCs to follow up any needed items.
All in all, we had an awesome weekend in this cabin and I would stay in this one again. We even saw a bear walking across the street! After booking our stay, I was a little concerned that there were no reviews for this cabin but those fears were calmed.
