Can't beat the views

  • 5 of 5

Lovely, clean cottage. Spectacular views, very friendly neighborhood. We lived on the porch watching sun rises, sailboat classes, fishermen, and birds. A very relaxing week.

Fourth Year Here!

  • 5 of 5

We just completed our fourth year staying at this charming beach cottage in April. We love to spend sunny mornings having breakfast on the sun porch while enjoying the amazing ocean views. We are still discovering new and fun things to do here in the area. We highly recommend the lighthouse tours available aboard the Seajet vessel out of New London. The info is available on the Cross Sound Ferry website and www.lighthouse.cruises. For a good dinner with a view we love the seafood at the Main Street Grill in the village of Niantic. Also, we enjoyed pizza, Italian food, and delicious cheeseburgers at the Family Pizza Restaurant, also downtown Niantic. Walking along the Niantic boardwalk is not to be missed. There are many little shops and boutiques in the village, but also large grocery stores and malls within a few miles of the cottage. The cottage is centrally located for trips to the casinos, beaches, shopping, and restaurants. For relaxation and a stress-free vacation, the cottage is perfect. It has everything one needs to feel right at home.

Comfortable beach house in a beautiful location.

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I just spent five fall/winter months in this very comfortable beach house. It has a great location (on the water and close to town), friendly but not intrusive neighbors and everything needed for a long-term stay. Our favorite feature was the sun porch which afforded spectacular sunrise views over the water and wonderful views throughout the day. The amenities were as described except for the "king" bed in the main bedroom which turned out to be two twin beds placed together. We found this to be a real but relatively minor annoyance in the context of our overall experience. Other minor issues such as cable/internet disruptions were quickly addressed by the owners. Overall,we had a great experience, would definitely recommend and would love to return in the future

Feels Like Home

  • 5 of 5

April 2015 was our third year renting this comfortable cottage. It really feels like "home" now. We look forward all year to enjoying the beautiful Niantic area and the beach cottage. Locally, there are plenty of places to enjoy good food, shopping, and a movie. However, you might be tempted just to sit on the porch or walk along the beach. Beth and Glen keep the home clean and inviting. The cottage is like stepping back in time, but with all the modern conveniences. We will return again!

Very Relaxing Vacation

  • 5 of 5

This by far, was one of the most relaxing weeks of our lives! Everything we needed was right here and quite honestly, we rarely left. Every last detail is provided and that's what really made the difference. The house is very homey and comfortable and immaculate. We had wonderful weather and we spent our days on the beach and the evenings walking along the shore road. We definitely would return!
