The views are amazing BUT the furnishings need UPDATING NOW

  • 3 of 5

The cabin has the most amazing views!! The cabin was clean when we arrived as was the appliances. The outside porch was very nice. The grill was used everyday we were there. But the living room furniture needs to be replaced immediately. They are worn out and not comfortable. And the sleeper couch would not even be comfortable for a child. They need to remove the sofa table and add more seating - the cabin can sleep 6 IF THEY GOT A GOOD QUALITY couch - but only seating for 4. The bedding also needs to be upgraded. They have very low quality sheets and blankets. They are rough and hard. They also seems like they have been on the beds a while. There also were no pillows to be used on the pull out couch - HAD IT BEEN COMFORTABLE ENOUGH TO US. The pool table could be removed and made into a sitting room with a nice QUALITY sleeper couch. There is not much room to play pool any since it is a tight space. But kids would enjoy a place to hang out and watch TV. The washer and dryer worked very well. The resort area is kept very clean. The parking is adequate. The one thing we would say is they need to require people to park in front of their cabins and not along the streets. In some places that turns a two lane drive into a one lane drive. The drive to the cabin was all paved - but in icy weather there are a few places that would be difficult to get to - especially the last trek to Lovers Lookout. (It is on the 2nd to last level of the resort) Over all if they would update the furnishings in this cabin it would have made 5 stars. But when you are on vacation you want comfort and these furnishings just didn't cut it.

Best views in the Smokies!

  • 5 of 5

The mountain top view is unbelievable. I could sit on that deck and look at that view forever. The cabin is very nice and clean- and I am very picky. It is a perfect location- quick access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or the National Park. For over 30 years we have come to the Smokies anytime we get a few days off. This cabin greatly exceeds any place we have ever stayed. We will definitely be back soon, if we can find a time when it is available.

Great property, great location

  • 5 of 5

This was our first family trip to the area. Pigeon Forge is super great for families, and the cabin location could not have been better. Off the strip so it's for a secluded feel, but close enough to everything. It's super close to Dollywood and Dixie Stampede. Cabin was as described, gray wrap around deck with beautiful view. The cabin is located near the top of the community, so view is great. Cabin has two nicely sized bedrooms, and two full sized bathrooms. Master has a separate shower and tub. Pull out sleeper worked well for kids, but wouldn't recommend for adults. It's a normal pull out, and mattress is thin. Kitchen was great, and gas grill was perfect for two of our planned meals. Washer and dryer nice to have, and dryer worked well (sometimes we've struggled with the dryer getting things dry quick.)

Overall - highly recommend.

Property was well maintained and the view was nice. It was peaceful and quiet .

Great place to stay if the weather is accommodating. Cabin was clean and very comfortable. I do NOT recommend booking this cabin if there is potential for snow and ice. You may get stuck in the cabin or stuck in town and not be able to get back to the cabin. The roads to this cabin are extremely steep.

Parking was very minimal as well. The view from the porch is amazing! We saw a beautiful sunrise one morning. Sherwood Forest is a great cabin complex. I would like to re-visit one day.
