Our Two Bedroom Grande Beachfront Residence, less than 25 feet from beach with direct sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico from virtually every room. The condo provides 1,500+ square feet of space. Full kitchen complete with house wares, two private bedrooms, two baths, living/dining room and adjacent den. The den has a queen-size Murphy Bed and sofa that can be closed off to become a third bedroom. Comfortably accommodates up to six guests.

Two FREE adult bikes, FREE WiFi, + Washer/Dryer in unit, 4 cable TVs, 3 DVDs, King-size bed in MBR, twin beds in BR #2. Large and bright living room has sliding glass doors to the screened lanai less than 25 feet from the white, sandy beach.

Perfect again.

We have stayed here before and really loved it. We couldn't to come back and can't wait till we can return again. This home is well maintained and the accommodations were very comfortable. There are lots of beach equipment so you don't have to bring much. The pool is close and the beach is right out the back door of the patio. The owner is very good and quick to respond to any question you have.

Spacious and well-located condo

My family (me, my husband, 2 year old and infant) really enjoyed our Sanibel vacation in this condo. We loved that it was spacious and we had tons of room to spread out with our family of four. The location within the condo complex was unbeatable- very quick access to both the beach and pool and parking right outside the door. The beach and pool never felt crowded and we spent pretty much all day taking advantage of both. The beach equipment and toys were great. They were really well stocked, even including bike helmets and a trailer for the bikes. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of extra linens. It was so nice having the washer and dryer right in the unit, especially with two little kids. We made good use out of the pack and play and high chair. Overall, this is one of the best places for kids that we have stayed- having the little extras like a high chair goes such a long way when you are flying and don't want to bring a ton of stuff. We loved the big wall of windows in the living room. It was very hot during our stay in August, so we never really had them open, but during cooler months I think it would be amazing to have them open and hear the waves! We found the local realty firm that handles the check in/out to be very friendly.

Overall, I would highly recommend this unit, however there were some minor things that could have used some attention, like the tubs could be refreshed, some doorknobs and outlets were loose, and the accordion doors for the den were coming off the tracks and hinges were loose. But those were all minor things. One major downside we experienced was some very loud construction going on in the unit directly above. We found out they were doing a major renovation, including taking out the old flooring and putting in new floors, which made for quite the racket. On days that the crew was working (over half of the days we were there), the noise made it so we couldn't sleep in in the morning and it made it difficult to get our kids down for naps during the day due to the noise. That was the only really disappointing thing about our stay, but we recognized it was completely out of the owner's control and we were just unlucky. On the days they weren't doing construction, we found the unit to be very nice and quiet.

Do I recommend staying here? Yes! Would I stay here again? I would love to!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind review. We strive to have our condo in perfect condition and continually do repairs and upgrades. We replaced the accordion door last Saturday ( most likely the day of your departure ) and tightened all door knobs. I look forward to having you back as our guest.

Perfect Accomodations, generously equipped

We absolutely loved this 1st floor condo with beach and pool literally steps away. Clean, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds. Den has fold up Murphy bed and folding doors for extra room by day and privacy for sleeping at night. We traveled by plane, so we were beyond grateful to have so many things provided for us such as beach towels, bikes, quality lounge and beach chairs, beach cart, boogie boards, cooler, rafts, umbrellas, shelling nets, you name it, we lacked nothing for a great week at the beach. Our family of 5 (mom, dad, 3 kids ages 15-21) took turns throughout the days hopping on bikes for early coffee runs, afternoon ice cream or just exploring. We also loved the convenience of being able to walk next door to Sundial resort for poolside tiki bar called "Turtles" (try the homemade Beach Chips, they're phenomenal), pizza shop, or on-site restaurant overlooking the pool and gulf (we loved their breakfast buffet). Also liked Bailey's convenience store located at resort, for quick necessities/snacks without driving to a bigger store. Would most certainly rent

Not As Anticipated...

I have rented many units from VRBO and based on the reviews of this unit, I expected another great vacation. My personal experience, however, was a disaster. On Day 1, I moved the bed to plug in my phone and found a pile of old pistachio shells on the carpet. On Day 3, I was terrified to find a snake (yes, a snake) in the Master Bedroom inside the laundry closet. On Day 5, my husband found ANOTHER snake on the enclosed patio. Unfortunately, when I calmly reported this (the first incident, I didn't even bother reporting the second incident) to the owner, her response was that snakes were common to the area and that her only course of action was for my family to leave and she would refund the additional nights. They did send a maintenance man who took a cursory look of the condo (at my request). Not once did she even offer a basic apology. First, snakes may be common to the area but that doesn't mean that I want to sleep with them. Second, since Sanibel is restricted to 7 day rentals, where was my family to go? Even more disturbing for future renters, absolutely zero questions regarding where the snake could have entered or anything that would help really understand the entry point for these snakes. I expected a wonderful vacation but instead, my children and I had to endure a week of anxiety in a snake filled condominium.

Owner's Response: I am sorry that our guest did not enjoy her stay. I always put our guest first and if I were made aware of cleaning issues our cleaners would have been back immediately. As for the snake, this had never happened before and our condo association sent someone to inspect all thresholds and possible points of entry and couldn't find any. It is possible that the lanai door had been left open by the guest or a previous guests. I did try to call the guest on the condo phone, their cell phone and then after no response by email and text asking her to call back. She texted me instead making it very difficult to communicate. I did offer her a refund for any unused nights and would have assisted her to find another location if she had responded, but my text never got any reply so I was unaware of her issues and therefore unable to remedy her situation. All of our other guest have given us 5 star reviews and I wish I had better communication with this guest so she would have felt the same way.

Great Accomodations!

I highly recommend this property, as well as Marjorie's other unit K405. We have stayed in both. E104 is a very conveniently located beach front unit on the ground floor,with a beautiful view of the ocean. The beach and pool are just steps from the condo. The condo is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The storage closet has 2 bikes, beach cart, beach toys, noodles, beach chairs,umbrella, cooler etc. This is so convenient for those of us coming by plane.

Sanibel Island is great for shelling, biking, and low key relaxing. We can't wait to return to this unit next fall.

had such a wonderful time at your condo! Was able to spend time alone for a few days and then my mom, sister and sister in law came for girls week, just what we all needed and everything we needed was there. Loved being able to walk out from lani, enjoyed the bikes and chairs, everything was just as described. Beds were very comfortable and place was beautiful and clean. Thank you so much for providing this rental, hope to stay here again sometime!! <3
