Worth every penny!

  • 5 of 5

Ended our vacation yesterday and I'm already wanting to return! Plenty of room for 6 adults and 3 children! Never once felt we were too close for comfort or needed space. We were able to see fireworks almost every night from the porch and enjoyed being so close to the water. Kevin responded to our random questions about coffee pots and grill type rather quickly and took the time to make sure our trip was one to remember! Kitchen was fully stocked and game room was a crowd pleaser. My 5 year old son was pleasantly surprised to find 2 bins of toys to play with including Lightening Mcqueen and Mator. My 68 year old father enjoyed going down memory lane and telling stories of how he went to many dances at the Rec Hall when he was a teenager=) Highly recommend this property!

Owner's Response: Kristine, this review made my day as I love when these trips are multi-generational. My grandparents started going there in the 50's making my kids 4th generation Newfound. We look forward to your return.

Great family vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time. There were 4 adults and 4 kids, and the lake house had plenty of room for all. Everyone enjoyed the game room, as well as swimming and kayaking on the lake.

Enough space for our entire family

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay in the house. Everyone had their own bed, there was plenty of cookware, and our dog really enjoyed the medallion on the floor. The beach was right across the street and the sunset views were great. Yes, the street was loud and there are no blinds or curtains in the living room but it's still 5 stars. Plenty of green area to walk the pup and super friendly people in the area. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and just taking in the great views. We only used the A/C once during our stay. The main bathroom was able to house 4 females without any fuss! Would rent this place again!

We loved our stay at the lake! It was perfect for our large crowd of nine.

We loved our stay at the lake! It was perfect for our large crowd of nine as we attended our daughter's graduation from New Hampton School. The weather was chilly so I made sure to bring down comforters for all the beds in addition to linens and towels. All appliances are more than ample to store food and cook for a crowd. We enjoyed grilling out and took the kayaks for a spin. The view of the lake and the sunsets were more than I had hoped for. There are more than enough chairs for outdoor seating. Bristol is a quaint little town with very friendly people. West Shore Road accommodates walkers, runners and cyclists well. For the most epic Downhill MTB experience in the NE, Highland Park is only a 40 minute drive. The owner is very personable, reflecting the character of the lake house. We look forward to our return!

According to the kids "it was just non-stop fun"

  • 4 of 5

This was a great property and suited our party of 17 quite well as we rented both units. We were able to enjoy the lake quite a bit and reunite the family for a week. The game room made for a nice competitive ping pong tournament followed by a shuffle board tourney. We were also able to hit all of our favorite dining spots. This was exactly what we were looking for!

Awesome place! Kids loved the game room. Plenty of room to spread out. We remember as kids when the place was the rec hall. The Nolans have done a great job renovating it!
